I promised I would make this thread when I lost my mind (clicks preorder one a certain mech) so here goes!

What kind of mech!? 55 tons. Jumpjets. Lasers. Missiles. High engine cap.

Eeeeeeeeh. I'm one of the largest CDS proponents out here, but I still think the MK III is a bit out there. 3086. I'd prefer something like the Pouncer myself.

It's about dreams, man. Don't let your dreams just be dreams.

As a Skitty jockey (I mastered them because I hate myself T.T) I'll tell you that 100kph at 45 tons is tough to live with, but if the Adder floats your boat I guess it'll work (my first kill was on trial adder.

I'm a huge Adder fan, and I'm planning on making the Cougar work. The Pouncer though? It's just a better Adder in every single way. So of course I'd love it.

I take offense to that. The Pouncer isn't a better Adder, as the Adder is an apex predator. :P

The Pouncer is a 10 ton lighter, 20 KPH faster Nova. I mean, up to 11 energy hardpoints, with 2 hardwired DHS, and 4 JJ? C'mon, now!

I will always remember the Mad Cat Mk III as $95 dollar ebay mechs, because that is how much they went on ebay, sometimes as much as $105, when the uniques of these are sold from the Mechwarrior Dark Age sets.

Nowadays, they cost much less.

Now this is a Clan Seafox-under-an-alias mech I could actually get behind. An efficiently designed 55 tonner with enough firepower to be a threat at pretty much any range? Much better than a c***tastic 90 ton knockoff that has to be at 400 meters or less to do any real damage.

I rather see the Mk IV though, with no need for Inglesias to redesign it. Just take the original Vic Bonilla design.

How about, since we already have two versions of the Mad Cat now, we let other chassis that don't have a bunch of different off shots get into the game? ;)

Mk III... Okay! I'll take one with FL armour please!

Mk. IV.... are you fracking retar*ed?!?! You want a death on ST loss version of the Timby, that also runs hotter?

Serious all the weight saved on the Mk. IV by using that XXL was spent on DHS to make up for the extra heat it generates....
