Bravo, PGI. Bravo. Can we dare hope for balanced Endo/Ferro for both sides, next?

Yeah crits from front loaded weapons do full damage as long as the shot does even a little damage to structure. Good news is I bet you were hit with a PPC or Gauss which are both being nerfed (Because situations like yours happen too frequently with those guns). The UAC/5 has 10 hitpoints and the Guass/PPC will only do 7.5 damage per crit roll. So it will be much less likely to be completely crit off the bat now with those weapons.

Yeah I'm personally pretty happy they are nerfing the crit capabilities of those two guns. Sucks catching a PPC in the back and losing an AC20 or something. Or getting a PPFLD alpha that crits BOTH UAC10s in the right arm of the HGN-IIC-C...

As far as the HP/Crit changes, I have to wonder if you'll be entirely removing IS quirks soon. The change to XL's was also pretty bad, now you're nerfing their equipment health by a decent chunk too.
I do like how the PPFLD weapons are seeing less chance to cause crits, this seems a much better way to balance than just reducing DPS.

What can you ask from 3d max "user"? They do not know what does it carthesian space and hierarchy mean so planar symetry is not their world
It is JUST PGI

Debateable as the increase in bulk really hurts - an artemis SRM 4 is exactly the size and weight of the non artemis SRM 6. Not surprised admittedly as we used them in preference to 6's for a reason...
Suspect most people will just eat the nerf and carry on as before or increase size. It mainly hits lights like the oxide with their two CT launchers who I suspect weren't really the problem.

Clan omni-mechs get locked stuff unlocked?
( never going to happen )
More seriously, now that Clan loses health, will IS lose quirks? You know, balance.

Well PGI, you're WRONG! Clan targeting computers will now be mostly worthless and Clan weaponry will be as fragile as cheap glass.
Way to keep on screwing over your Clan players.

I'm sorry, are you saying that the Inner Sphere Command Console is now superior to the Clan Targeting computers??!?
