Word of advice. MAD IIC, Stormcrow, Artic Cheetah, and now even Night Gyr....
..shoot the legs.
Actually Night Gyr's CT is rather huge and very, very easy to hit. I remember some people even ask for some CT durability quirks on Night Gyr.
The real weakness of MADIIC is really its gigantic rear side. The way the mech is shaped, the rear side actually has bigger surface than frontal side, so usually it takes far more damage from splash weapons as well. however, IS version does not have this weakness though.
This thread is about MADIIC, you're just derailing it on purpose.
What is more, when ACH or SCR decides to ridge hump using relatively low mounted weapons, you get no chance of leg shots.
Oh, I assumed you meant all chassis. Just like you assumed I meant all the time. See what I did there? Considering the OP SPECIFICALLY said his load out was 4 x SSRM4, I seriously doubt he was trying to trade with it over a hill.
But now to win the forum war you will reply saying that "the SRMs spread to much to all hit the legs, so you're an idiot" completely ignoring that OP SPECIFICALLY SAID he also had UAC5s. And that, until today's patch, SRM 4s have a pretty tight grouping.

I'm not trying to insult you, I'm just saying legging does not work reliably in solo queue. Especially when all your team mates shoot at center mass.

i kept shooting at a Mad IIC, armed with 3x UAC5, with me using 4x SRM4 + 2x UAC5s Ebon Jaguard, but it doesn't die.
That's a solid EBJ build, but no way in hell is that mech capable of facetanking a MADIIC. I bet that MADIIC had 4 CMPLs or even 2ERPPC along those 3CUAC5s. Frankly, probably not even the 4UAC5 King Crab would stand a chance in a 1v1.
Ebon Jag is a great offensive mech, but it has a rather huge and protruding CT hitbox. The only way to kill that particular MADIIC would be to attack from the side, so all those SRMs and UACs would hit a single side torso. Trying to core the MADIIC is a fools errand, unless it overheats and shuts down.
I have played the marauder IICs rather extensively, so I know the ins and outs of how to survive and how to get yourself killed in one, how to disable it and where not to shoot.
If its legs are exposed and you have a clear shot/aren't spotted, I don't care if you lock on and see an exposed side torso unless that torso is red. Leg it. LEG IT. Ammo is generally stored there on most variants and one of the marauder IIC's greatest strengths comes from its mobility. If you take away its mobility, chances are it won't even go 40KPH-- its turn rate is screwed, most importantly. Because the torso twist angle is limited, many MAD IIC pilots will rotate their legs as they twist, to get a further/faster twist. As soon as you take away that turn rate, you take away its strongest defensive tool, and it'll be much easier to disable.
If you see it shoulder peeking with its ballistics-- aim for the guns on it, not the side torso. You'll spread less damage to CT and hit the torso with the guns in it (duh), crippling its firepower.
If it is deadsiding (a torso is destroyed and the marauder pilot has positioned their destroyed torso between you and him), HOLD YOUR ****ING FIRE.
Let's do some math.
Your 50 point alpha only does 40% of that through damage transfer. 50 * .4 = 20. In general, an alpha that high costs 1/3-1/2 of your heat-- a considerable amount to pay for a measly 20 damage. Furthermore, the arm socket for the destroyed arm hitbox is much larger than people give it credit for. As soon as you graze it, you're losing out another 40% of your damage. 50 * .2 = 10. That is a pathetic damage count, innit?
So, what have we learned? Hold your shot. Or, at least, most of it. Either wait for them to twist their CT back to you to return fire, or only shoot them with a few weapons instead of all of them, tricking them into believing they shielded a full alpha. It isn't worth wasting heat to fire again and again and again at your enemy when they are deadsiding, especially in the case of the marauder IIC where you can be unfortunate enough to only have 1/5 your damage go through.
As a final general tip, if you find yourself unfortunate enough to be focused by a mad IIC from the front-- it's fight or flight. There is no in between. You either commit and kill it, or do as much as you can, or you run and probably die anyway. But aim CT. They will twist if they are good. But don't just aim CT-- aim for the cockpit. The head hitbox is huge, easy to hit from the front, and nothing will make a pilot more timid than having a cherry red head regardless of how fresh the rest of their mech is.
Specific tips:
Laser vomit MAD-IIC: Don't let up on your assault. That alpha hurt, but that alpha is hot as hell and easy to torso twist (clan laser pointers burn 5ever). They won't be able to alpha more than twice, maybe thrice before they're reduced to firing just their LPLs, which burn 6ever. The heat limits what they can do and if you run away after getting alphaed, they get to cool off and shoot you again.
Medium pulse boat MAD-IIC:
If you are within 350 meters, you are dead. No questions. Kill it from afar and if you don't have the range, hope your teammate does and that they aren't a potato.
Scorch (dual gauss PPC): Shoot the arms. Gauss explodes and yay! You have a stick. EZ
Scorch (brawler of doom):
That about sums it up.
