Atleast the Turkey is atleast 30x better than Clan Wolf's only assault Omnimech the Tomahawk and the Tomahawk II which really is a dire wolf in a Warhawk skin...

FTFY, and technically that is even false because they created the Gargoyle and Naga.

They were anything but noble, especially after Marthe dies (spoiler alert). They were the Luigi to Wolf's Mario only way less awkward and way more angry.

Well I like Marthe's Falcons, I don't care for what happens later.

I'd rather have the Bane which is something the Falcons at least produced so that counts right?

Eh, I'll be honest with you I have no desire for the Bane whatsoever. And eh, it half counts, but really looking for the designed and produced together, as they didn't make it until they captured the Olivetti facility right?

I would consider the Bane a Hell's Horses mech.

Marthe's Falcons are an exception to their history, not the rule.

Potentially, I'm not sure whether they started production then or just moved down production from there like CGB did with all of their production.

Sarna only lists the Hell's Horses facility and Olivetti, no Ironhold complexes.

Which is funny given how the Mad-IIC already looks like a Turkey and is a cooler assault.

hey! Careful what you say or I'll grab my Gobbler and come and get ya!

Ah, I see you have some prejudice against the noble Clan Jade Falcons.

Anyway, it can do the staple loadouts with better hardpoint heights than a Dire, but can also do something like 6 ATM-9s or 6 LRM-15As (it might even be able to mix a 20 or two in there), which is completely new to the Clan assault Class. They can also make up for its lack of payload by giving it better agility than the Dire.

Ben Franklin thought the Turkey was a noble bird and wanted it to be the symbol of the USA. Thank goodness that didn't happen.

So you're a selectivist fan then? Sounds silly, we should just go with a Bane or Kingfisher over the Turkina.

Sarna doesn't list all facilities (because Sarna is not 100% accurate on several things) nor does it list a timeline of them.

Why? I despise Steiner under Katherine Steiner-Davion, but don't mind them otherwise. I think that's reasonable.

That's different, despising a small period for a faction is different from disliking a faction for all but a small period.

Sounds pretty similar, just inverted. And I didn't say I disliked non-Marthe CJF, just that I didn't care. Essentially, I have no opinion on CJF without Marthe, as I haven't read enough books with them to form a strong opinion. I HAVE read books with Marthe's CJF, and liked them/her/Horse.

Turkina is really the only well known one

But hey you already have the Night Gyr, that thing has the firepower of an assault!

Its not the same! And really, it has the firepower of a light assault. Its an ER PPC short of true Clan assault firepower.

I have to agree with Bishop here. Even though I am a Jade Falcon enthusiast and would pilot any Jade Falcon assault 'Mechs that PGI released, both the Turkina and Wakazashi seem inferior to the assault 'Mech choices we already have. The Jupiter might do well, but the mounts seem rather low.

The Gyrfalcon would be nice - great mounts on a fast 55 tonner. I would love the Fire Falcon, too.

Yeah, most Clan assault mechs are inferior to what we already have, its pretty tough to power creep the Clan assault lineup even more. Even the Blood Asp would essentially be a side grade to the KDK-3 at best, or even the Mad Cat Mk. II.

It has the potential to be a slightly more agile, less firepower Dire, with hover jets and higher hardpoints/less cowling over head to get shot before you even look over a hill.

CJF also manufactured the bane and Marauder IIC.

The Turkina? Was roundly ignored on the TT, in literature and in the video games to date for a reason.

Turkina was in the MechCommander, Desperate Measures.

It uh, didn't look very good:

Some Turkina's also appeared in the novel Prince of Havoc.

Yep, Turkina's definitely took part in the great refusal (I think they had 2), and as matter of fact, CJF was one of the two Clans to actually win.

Regarding looks, Alex's versions always look good.
