I mainly use FRAPS, but they come out uncompressed and really large. I compress them via VLC, but the sound becomes desynced. I would try to use twitch, but probably it eats up the bandwidth i barely have, resulting into poor gameplay.

MSI Afterburner the fan control, OC and Temperature monitoring program can be used by non MSI mobo/videocards.. Has screen shot and recording options. It is also free.

Ya you can use Open Broadcaster to record decent quality, small videos to your hard drive. Though if you have an Nvidia card Geforce Experience might be worth looking into.
