Could the secret challenge be to die to an urbanmech? i got the secret challenge finished... im not sure what i did though. I did die to a fellow urbie once so im leaning towards that as a possibility.

Very fun though, I absolutely love these Urbageddon events!

I am convinced that we need an Urbie specific tournament to see who is the best of all. There can only be ONE!

I died first in a match last night so it's not that.
And it's not die while piloting an urbie.

What we know about the secret challenge:

1. It is not mech-specific.
2. Normal QP play is all that is required to satisfy the win conditions.
3. The prize is a warhorn that doesn't play when you make a kill, but instead when you are killed.
4. The event page only updates (approximately) hourly, making it difficult to pinpoint what you did or did not do to earn it.

It might be possible to figure out if number 3 is a significant indicator of the requirement(s?), or if it's something completely different, but it would require someone to do very limited actions in a match and then sit out the rest of the hour until they were certain the event page is updated. Given that this would violate number 2 and would be a real pain in the ***, is it really worth it to try to figure out?

I just got it too after 2 hours of playing with different mechs. I got it while I was in my Rifleman I had most of my weapons destroyed so i ran into a group of enemy mechs and went out in a blaze of glory. I watched the match till the end then got the secret reward after that.

That doesn't necessarily mean you got it from that match, could have been that last match occurred at the turn of the hour where the event updates. Yes, it *could* have been that match, but it would have to have been timed perfectly to register instantly...

To the secret challenge: I only played one match today and got it: We lost, I died, I did a Kill and a KMDD if I remember correctly. I think its about to die and do a kill before or do a kill and lose the match.

I got the Secret Challenge prize - it is the Fool's War Horn, but I wouldn't get too work up about it - because it only sounds when you get killed - get it? "Fool's Horn" - April Fool's joke. Nice - PGI

I lucked out and got it early in the event - like others, I'm not sure what I did to get it.

I think it might have been an Assault I took down with a Cheetah (he was happily LRMing and I shot him in the back - you know how it goes). I'm pretty sure there was no Urbie involved.

I think that secret reward is just giving out randomly for QP, got mine too while simply playing QP for 2 hours and do nothing particular...
