Bought mine too, but don't regret buying them. It's a mech I wanted to play in MWO and happily put my money where my mouth is/was after asking for them.

It's not meta, not comp, not much of a threat on the field unless in the hands of a good pilot, sure. I just know they can be a lot of FUN. But garbage? Not IMO. I have got more then my money's worth in laughs alone - think of loosing to an all Urbie scout deck.

Don't worry, when Civil War comes out, there will be 3 more Urbies to use.

I made a good build with the Std 180 I pulled off my Blackjack (because I replaced its engine with a 210 from something else). Plus ERPPCs I had lying around I hardley ever used. And MGs I had sitting around. Essentially I only paid for the mech, endo and DHS. UM-R63 I usually lose a ST in it, so I don't think I'd change it so a XL engine. However, with the new tech I will probably upgrade to a LFE and possibly swap the MGs out for 3 HMGs, or add ERSLs. Don't know, so many options. Maybe I'll even try a smaller XL engine to put some LBs or a RAC on it.

Consider it an opportunity to invest in an XL 180 so you can learn the glory of a locust with some extra tonnage to play with at a minimal loss of speed.

Yeah... I only bought the one.. spent about 7m cbills all up to buy and to kit it out... and then played much longer yesterday than I intended to make back the CBills... as I'm planning on getting a couple of mad iic'c (to go with the recent sale purchased scorch)

(Also saving for new tech, aiming to save and set aside about 100m cBIlls for new tech... 60 million so far)
