"Custom Cosmetic Geometry"
Please explain?

CCG would be giving us the option to buy different geometry for our mechs that doesn't change hit boxes (Thus cosmetic only). Don't like the face of X mech? get an alternative one for MC. Would you like to have a spike ball on your mech instead of a hand? For a little MC you could.

The options are vast. Just about anything that doesn't change hit boxes is an option.

@TheArisen
A little like they're doing with the decals huh? An intriguing idea... although I do feel like this sort of thing really turned Team Fortress 2 into a mess.
Nevertheless, it doesn't incentivize map production specifically. PGI sell mechbays and camo patterns etc. but revenue just goes into general coffers and doesn't specifically convey demand for new maps.

I think the best idea so far is voting for new maps via purchase of map-specific support packs (unique vanity items, badges, etc.) Every four months voting would close and a new map would go into production. That's three new maps a year. Come on PGI you can do it! (or at least adapt some of those MW5 maps I know you're working on...)

rather than charging for mappacks they should just do a kickstarter to create new maps

and if they reach the kickstarter goal we get new maps and everyone can play on them. and if they dont reach the goal we dont get new maps.
