If the Clan Wave 2 and 3 Heroes ever came into the game, I think that personalities like these would be valid candidates for these mechs.

Wave 2
Mist Lynx:
Hang Metha - Though she piloted both the Ebon Jaguar and the Timber Wolf, her method was described as being swift and aggressive. So the Mist Lynx would be a perfect fit for Hang.

Ice Ferret:
Marielle Radick - SaKhan of Clan Wolf
Ragnar - He piloted the Ice Ferret during his career in the Exiled Wolves, but it was later destroyed following his capture by Clan Ghost Bear.

Hellbringer:
Kael Pershaw - Loremaster of the Clans and Clan Jade Falcon. He was known to favor the Hellbringer.

Gargoyle:
Conal Ward - Loremaster of Clan Wolf. Conal used the Gargoyle during the Red Corsair Scandal. He was noted for using the mech with mixed configurations.

Ulric Kerensky - Ulric Kerensky favored the Gargoyle as his personal mech of choice. He piloted the mech throughout Operation Revival and up until his death in the Refusal War.

Mad Dog:
Lita - She was a Ghost Bear Star Commander who worked with Jake Kabrinski and fought against Clan Hell's Horses.

Wave 3
Arctic Cheetah:
?

Shadow Cat:
Lucian Carns - SaKhan of Clan Nova Cat. Although he piloted a Gargoyle, Carns died piloting a Shadow Cat after the events of the Great Refusal. With the 3060+ time jump, he could be a valid candidate.

Ebon Jaguar:
Trent - A traitor to Clan Smoke Jaguar. Despite Trent's history of piloting a Timber Wolf, he used an Ebon Jaguar during his final years with the Smoke Jaguars.

Executioner:
Vandervahn Chistu - SaKhan of Clan Jade Falcon who was responsible for the death of Ulric Kerensky during the Refusal War. He piloted an Executioner and died at the hands of Vlad Ward.

Ebon Jaguar:

Samantha Kotare - was the commanding officer of the 6th Striker Cluster between 3058 and 3059. She was killed during the attack on Luzerne in 3059.

her OmniMech was armed with an ER PPC and an Ultra AC/20 in its arms, supported by a trio of LRM-10's mounted in its right torso, and an ER Small Laser in its left. Two tons of reloads were carried for both the Ultra Autocannon and the LRM launchers.

For wave 2 I would like some side torso hardpoints since except for the Hellbringer they basically don't have any. Only a srm on one of the Ice Ferrets and a ams on the Gargoyle.
And for the Arctic Cheetah and the Shadow Cat I wouldn't mind having one that had less JJs.

Well, in keeping with the fedcom civil war era and random tech upgrades.

The Bounty Hunter's Timber Wolf is too cool to pass on. Its really only the ECM and skin that sets it apart, and a TBR hero exists already...but still, there is precedence for more than one hero.

Hell, it could come in a Bounty Hunter reinforcements pack with a MAD-II, SHK and WHM... Posted Image

Mad Dog = Star Colonel Kristen Redmond (Black Vision cluster - Jade Falcon)
so far they seem to only use blood-named warriors.

I was only referring to the novel she was featured in, the Test of Vengeance. In there she had survived the Ghost Bear-Hell's Horses War. Seems she did die later on, in 3068, though Sarna surprisingly have no info on her.

Lots of Jade Falcons used the Hellbringer but I would rather see Star Commander (Star Captain) Joanna as the hero pilot. She even named her Hellbringer (TER) which is unusual for Clan pilots.

"Swift and aggressive" was a typical trait of all Smoke Jags, it wasn't unique to just Hang Mehta. Hell, it was a personality trait attributed to many of the Clans. There is no lore to support her ever running a light. Then you suggest Trent... a hated traitor of the Smoke Jags... as a "Hero" pilot? That'd be kind of an insult not just to the Smoke Jags, but the Clans. If Trent hadn't defected to ComStar with the Exodus Road, things may not have gone down as they did.

Funny, I was just thinking about this same thing today and found this thread before deciding to make a new thread. I'd really love to see an Ebon Jaguar Hero 'Mech. Even more, I'd love to see it be a Hang Mehta Ebon Jaguar, I was sort of sad they chose Jin Mehta's Direwolf but no Hang Mehta EBJ. That said, I'd be content with Samantha Kotare's.

Mad Dog, Arctic Cheetah and Ebon Jaguar should probably get Smoke Jaguar heroes, maybe even 1-2 more mechs.

The reasoning for this is that unlike the others the smoke jags only got one hero from wave one and that they won't realy get any new mechs that will be associated with them down the line, seeing as they got whiped out. Though I would not mind PGI making some new CSJ mechs piloted by CSJ heroes.

Hang Mehta should be the Ebon Jag hero for sure.

I didn't wanna bring that up but it's true. When the Clan Heroes came out, I was severely disappointed that the only Smoke Jag one was Jin Mehta's UV. =/

Absolutely, no question, the most notable Hellbringer pilot - at least until TER was lost...

If she doesn't get her Hellbringer, then the Mad Dog would be the mech most associated with Joanna.

I'll leave one of my favorite passages from "Falcon Guard" for those who haven't read it:

"Star Captain Joanna, who had never won her Bloodname, who now was among the aging warriors, could not know that among so many soldiers, she was the ideal Clan warrior. Clan military theorists as far back as Nicholas Kerensky himself would have admired her total dedication. On a battlefield she carried in no weight that could not in some way be used in the combat. Even her hatred, deep as it ran, was useful to the objectives of warfare. And in the entire Jade Falcon Clan few warriors could build up a killing growl like Joanna."

So I'll take my hero Hellbringer (the first mech she was ever mentioned in) or Mad Dog (her favorite), with the star studded hanging falconer gloves cockpit item.....

That is a hanging item that I would buy in a heartbeat.
