I would dare to suggest that all mechs that are not omnimechs get lower arm actuators. In a game like MWO we sure need them either for going vs a faster mech; getting streak target lock; shooting 2 enemies at once, or simply just for more battlefield awareness maybe even shooting at an angle either high or low.So what do you say ?

No. AC20 in the arm is a plus.

There are many IS battlemechs that I wish I could remove the lower arm actuators from because I wanna stick an AC/20 in the arm but the actuator does not leave me with enough space. No thank you.

Then how about a compromise.Make the lower arm actuators for battlemechs chosable(let the player choose if they want to have it )like on omnimech but with one great difference the lower arm actuators on battlemechs to be able to house guns like ac 20 ,gauss ,ultra 20,ultra 10 ,ac 10 lbx 20 etc on mechs that have pod space and still benefit from the side movement the lower arm actuator provides and on mechs that don't the fact that you can choose gives you more control over the customization of the mech .
And to make so that it will not ad tonnage to a mech just pod space plus or minus 1 or 2 depending on choice and as a bonus you will still have some torso movement and more slots for ammo, bigger gun that needs one more slot ,or simply the pod space you need for trade of like ferro-armoor , endo steel; or even artemis weapons who need more space.
PGI already has most of the programing done left over from the omni so it should be easier to put in place.
It will be a non zero sum game (Win-Win)
