I have been playing the C-UAC10 so far in pairs and really loved it and getting very good results. However, I theory crafted a pair of C-AC10 and it seems to produce a FAR HIGHER DPS on smurfy... why is that so? Yes, the UAC10 jams so much the overall DPS may be affected but is that what it is??

Heat per shot. The cAC/10 makes 2 heat per burst while the cUAC/10 makes 3. SMurfy gives the sustained DPS as a DPS you can keep without overheating ever.

So the cUAC is better for immediate but inconsistent burst damage versus the cAC with consistent sustained damage. My impression anyway, I still haven't touched any clan ballistics

C-ACs are placeholder weapons. Inferior in every way. What good is that theoretical heat advantage on C-AC10 while you just cannot overheat using 2xcUAC10 (which is the heat cap for them btw.).

Probably when you're also using heat heavy weapons on the same build, like the upcoming heavy lasers.
