I can't possibly imagine something I want them to spend less time on.

Caz, you started a salt thread just for the sake of setting up that line?
My what a lame attempt at humor. Gimped even.
You've got a leg up on everybody else! You're the first person who got that joke and yes, I made this thread - not to increase salt levels, but for a pun. That is the entire reason I did this.

Not f*ck about and waste time messing with where a mechs feet align with on the terrain. Wtf I've never even noticed or stared at a mechs feet long enough to even recognize that as some sort of an issue.

Apparently, some people have a thing for mech feet, like Juodas. Quads would have 4 instead of 2!

It should be celebrated just like Ghost Heat or the old era where the laser eye Atlas was a thing.
We can't have nice things that actually used to be in the game that didn't actually break other things.

Some people have eyes. And care about visuals. Sorry 'bout it.

The problem is that the people PGI tends to hire are those just coming out of college/university for that type of a position. Asking for a more veteran programmer/developer requires more money.

Even in that position you'd still be able to contribute to making some thing better rather than worse unless they really treated that person poorly. When i did my intern for computer networking the place I was at only allowed me to make a segmented virtual network using older machines isolated from the live actual network. Not once was I allowed to do any thing on their live network despite having two of their veteran IT staff physically present in the room with me at all times. I was able to do more "routine" IT work however.
We've seen pgi blow large wads of money before on failed attempts to improve mwo so spending more on new hires would be a super rare smart move on their part.

Very Droll.
As I.K was in the game briefly, during closed beta, I suspect it remains out, for much the reason it was removed.
They can't get it to work without it having a big negative effect on performance with Potato rigs and 'gaming' laptops.
It's either that or some of the newer mechs were created without consideration for it's inclusion oneday, and they join the ministry of silly walks when it's switched on.

1) won't matter since it'll never make it in anyway.
2) it's for immersion, something this game is sorely lacking at this point. The mechs ar so overquirked they've gotten that ****** MW4 arcade feel to them now.

Inverse Kinetics. Basically, your legs and feet bend at certain angles for greater immersion.
Inverse Kinematics, actually, but yes. Always better if your mech legs actually adjust their posture for the terrain rather than pretend it's not there.
