Just putting this out there but, I do hope the autocannon hardpoints are realtively high in the torsos. We'll see when it drops, or at least when they start teasing the release of these mechs but I'd actually drop some cash on it if that was the case.

RT/LT are already higher than most mechs. Even if they put them on the bottom they would still be high.

Well PGI has announced that the hardpoints will indeed NOT be in the highest possible position.

Back to waiting and seeing where they end up.

I dunno... I'm not even sure what kind of useful dakka you can run if the side torsos are a magnet to damage.

It would probably survive better with energy torsos, but whatever. Ironically a Maddog has similar tonnage free compared to the Timberwolf.

The Maddog isn't exactly good for midrange due to low arm hardpoints/locations.

2xCUAC10s + 5 CERSLs sounds ok. That's what my EBJ runs. In CW you can save 5 tons on the dakka Heavy.

That's a fair guess, especially after they've announced that the hardpoints will NOT be near the top, by the cockpit.
