1- The IS chat notification constantly blinks with no way to disable just the IS notifications
2- The chat window does not retain it's size and position after a drop
3- The chat window takes way too long to load after a drop and at one point caused the game to crash so severely I had to reboot to get the game to launch again
4- Group status notifications in the friends list no longer show up (including the ability to join a group leader in unit)

Working as intended?
Almost a quarter mill cbills and almost 4k XP for not firing a shot at anything but bases/towers/turrets...

Hello there... I see you all have forgotten that "Destroy The Enemy Base" is part of the Objectives. The Incursion Base is made up of seven different parts, each of which is contributing to that full value, and is only earned by the ones to actually make the score on it. Further, if someone is able to get past the enemy and single-handedly make them pay for their ignorance and failure to protect their base, then they should be seriously rewarded for it. Which also goes to note, those values could easily be split among seven people who only get a part of it each, in which case you won't see that large value anyway for just one person, as managing that kind of feat is only an anomaly. Incursion is working properly, and you're just over-embellishing on the anomalistic play in what is not a flawed design. That maximum value, when earned, is not given to the rest of the team at the same time. There is no lopsided/unbalanced rewards going on, and you're over-inflating your complaint due to the fact that you have Premium Time running. Try looking at those numbers again without the extra from the Premium Time that you have active, then you'll see that PGI already has it right. There is no reason to hurt those without Premium Time just because those with it got a valuable boost.

YES, YES & YES again! The lag is real in this patch & my FPS have dropped on average by 10-20fps but often by way more. It's also now giving me a black screen occasionally during the huge lag spikes.
The chat sometimes doesn't load for me either.
Incursion?? While I feel it would work in Faction Play it has no place in Quick play. It's just another skirmish. If you try to play to the objectives your team has to split & they die as it seems most other players think it's all about killing the enemy team, I even had someone shouting(yes, really aggressively shouting) at me for trying to play properly. It would work asymmetrically with one team defending & the other attacking & it would work very well but without re-spawns there just aren't the amount of mechs required to be able to play it properly.

There's just one problem with your thinking. If the Incursion mode isn't present in Quick Play, then how will people learn to play it before they reach Faction Warfare? They wouldn't. Then there would be more upset and agony as worse PUG-stomps happened, therefore causing further loss of interest in Faction Warfare. This is a problem we need to not go around causing.

I see your point but more people play Quick Play so it's alienating the majority as it is & surely that's worse? Like I said It would work if it was asymmetric & would probably be a load of fun to boot. I was & am somebody who supports this new game mode, PGI have done it slightly wrong & I'm hoping they will let us try it asymmetrically so we can at least find out if it's the way forwards. I'm my opinion it needed way more than just 1 PTS to get it nailed down.
The Tactics used in Quick Play are very different from Faction Play anyway so no matter what it needs to be learned on both sides.
Thanks for your comment This needs level headed discussion & not the usual **** posting which hell man, you did well!

Granted, four games aren't really that many, but so far I find it pretty balanced.

This is like having an enemy disco every game tempting people to go off on their own...
If the rewards could be slightly retooled in a way that encouraged team strategy rather than people automatically running off on their own (remember, ypu only get the bonuses if YOU kill the base)...
I know this is not a new problem, however this is the first game mode that flat out rewards it, all I ask is, is that a good thing?
They could have a mechanic where you at least have to have 2 mechs in tandem to make it work (and split the rewards) or make it a bit harder for a solo mech to pull it off...

However... I still haven't been able to play Domination on the new Alpine, nor Incursion on about half of the maps it's available on.
I severely wish we could pick a range of matches/maps we are interested in playing, and then the game would do its best to match up players based on their preferences and how they were ranked. Then we could choose the sort of matches we feel suits our mech's build/play style.
Has always seemed so backwards that we just get dropped blind into a fight, with no ability to have our mech's build match the needs of that match. Would never, ever happen in any sort of real life planned military mission.
We know what's coming in FP. Why not in QP?

As players, we have to understand that this game is ever evolving and that we all aren't going to like every one of the changes. That just means that we need to be adaptable and adjust our game play to keep it enjoyable. I find the following helpful:
1) If you don't like a particular game mode, you can just be aggressive right out of the box and get killed quickly so you can move on to another match, hopefully one of your liking. Some people like a more strategic game like incursion or escort while others just like to skirmish. If they don't want players doing this, then they will go back to us being able to select our game mode again. It is the closest you are going to get to having a choice in the current environment and about the only thing you can do to adapt.
2) What you buy today may not be what you have tomorrow if they make changes so be wary in making purchases, especially if you are laying out cash instead of c-bills. Of my friends who play, the ones who do so for free seem far more satisfied than those of us who pay cash. It's much easier to accept a recent purchase being 'nerfed' if it doesn't cost you any real money. It's easier to accept changes to game play if you don't have any actual cash invested in it. We have to understand that if any mech, weapon or other item is 'too good' when you buy it (like the origin al Kit Fox), it will have to be nerfed in order to keep game play fair. This fairness means that the variance between mechs can't be too great or it will throw off game play. In other words, they aren't different enough to necessitate owning a bunch of different ones.
3) The more mechs you own, the harder it will be for you when big changes occur. Less is more. It's easier to make adjustments to mechs based on gameplay changes when you have 12 mechs than it is when you have 120. For instance, when the new skill tree comes out, you will have to refit your mech modules as the modules you purchased will no longer exist. Easier done when you have less mechs.
4) Play to have fun and don't worry about your stats. The stats don't mean much anyway unless you're playing in a competitive group. Most of us are just doing quick play matches so your stats are fairly irrelevant.
5) Use your 'mute' option liberally. When you hear whining, complaining or some other annoyance from another player during a match, just mute them. I've never seen an in-game argument result in something positive. If someone is bugging you, just mute them and try to enjoy the rest of the match or die quickly and move on.
As someone who has spent an embarrassing amount of money and time on this game, I just offer these suggestions in hopes of getting others to chill out a little and make the game more enjoyable rather than complaining about changes, maps, game modes, etc. I (like many others) have invested too much cash and time into this game to have it become undesirable to play due to changes or in-game whining.

So I must ask again. Why? What's with this obvious bias against a system which requires full exposure to retaliation to fire, has greater weight/heat and slower rate of fire than the comparable less-sophisticated version, and is specifically designed to deliver its full payload to the target?* They already can't fire when radar jamming is present. Isn't that enough of a gimping for this game mode? The same thing happens in Escort, but there are ways to work around it...take your shots from outside the area of effect or flip control of the tower to your side. But on Incursion this is just total Nopewarrior for SSRMs and nobody has offered any reason for the change except 'something, something, LRM-side, something, something complete' and they aren't even the most affected by it.
*unless it's a stationary defenseless building, I guess

For me it drops to 5-13, but with jitter, it's not smooth, almost feels like lag, than jittering frames that try to catch up. Fighting light could be hard, now it is damn impossible.
