anyone who played the last loot bag event probably realizes why siege mode needs to show up more often

it was impossible to get the siege mode loot bags

to resolve that issue in the future, siege needs to appear sometimes in the middle of the tug-o-war bar and not just at the ends.

conquest with respawns for example is totally different from conquest without respawns.

I would just like to see siege more often. Change the way the modes come up so that if both sides are close it doesn't just end up on the same mode forever.

Until there is an actual economy added to the game, as in certain planets producing certain mechs, weapons and whatever else, providing discounts on said items to the faction that controls them, there's really no point in playing CW at all.


Right now there are no 'top comp' teams in FP. There are Units that play but most of the comp teams are doing MRBC and such.

Not that some of the guys don't overlap but you are not going to see EMP or Eon there very often.

I rather CW moved away from QP modes as well, and from invasion as well, both are just not what CW needs to make itself different enough and viable for the playerbase. Queue times are brought up over and over again, so how do we deal with that, make conflict zones into dedicated servers instead that we just hot drop into, give tickets to teams, move to a 20v20 fight, take from MechWarrior Living Legends Theater of War mode where you take and hold objectives to drain enemy tickets faster, only if enough players are on the server will wins count for conflicts. You no queues, you drop on an active "zone" play as long as you want, quit when you want, get your rewards, modify your drop deck, come back, go at it, keep on going as long as you want for the day/night. Far more engaging than the current structure of CW and far less stupid than QP modes with respawns or the horrid corridor maps that Invasion mode maps are.

to be honest they should just make faction play for solo players and small groups of 2-3 max

with the 8v8 ranked ladder being added, teams will have their own gamemode to fight other teams, they wont need to ruin faction play anymore.

So groups playing in a queue designed primarily for them are ruining it...

except its not designed solely for large groups. so yes

a gamemode should either be for large groups only or it should be for solo players and small groups only

trying to shove both into the same gamemode doesnt work. because the large groups just prey on the solo players/small groups and its not challenging for them. And its not fun for the solo players/small groups to lose to large groups. its lose lose.

thats why quickplay has both a solo queue and a group queue. and its why faction play fails because mixing the two doesnt work. unfortunately since faction play cant have two different queues, it makes more sense for faction play to cater to solo players/small groups since a new 8v8 ranked ladder gamemode is being added for larger groups.

Now that 8v8 ranked ladder is being added, large groups will have their own gamemode, so faction play can be catered more towards solo players and small groups.

Remember large groups are in the minority. Most people play solo or with 1-2 friends. So it makes the most sense to cater faction play to the widest number of players. That way faction play has a higher player population and a better chance of succeeding instead of failing like it does now because large groups prey on solo players and smaller groups.

Only CW I play these days is scouting. And btw, making Siege its own category during loot bag events, when you barely ever get a chance to play a match, is adding insult to injury.

And what's wrong with people binging their issues with mechbays and tuorials and stuff in here? Not sure whether I should hate or pity them.
