Come on guys it is so easy to give an object a bool variable to say that incoming messages in the faction chat do not trigger the blinking of the social tab. Yes, it should blink for unit and group chat or messages from my friend list, but if we keep getting notified about the faction chat, you can expect many members breaking the code of conduct for:
HARASSMENT / DEFAMATION / INSULTS / TOXICITY

Threats, Bullying, and Personal Information

SPAMMING / TROLLING / UNCONSTRUCTIVE BEHAVIOR


And we don't want that, right? Review your code, implement those bool variables and we are all fine ..

You can disable Faction chat in the settings but yes, I agree......very annoying

I agree. I don't want to disable faction chat because I do read it off and on. I do not, however, want to have it flash for every single one of their messages.

Just add another toggle under Notification for "Suppress Faction notifications" and we're golden. Some may find those updates useful, I do not.
