Hi again, The6thMessenger... You might want to look over UM-IIC-H again. I think it's missing one each of Dynamic Armor and Dynamic Structure??? :o

Well, i've updated. Also adjusted the E Variant to have slower movement speed but better armor. Also redistributed quirks, such as the last variant having less armor but 210 max engine.

Quote

UM-IIC-E

Spoiler

An offensive configuration for existing Urbanmechs as built by the Clan Coyote to replace lost Kit-Foxes, improving only on it's chassis and replacing armor with Ferro-Fibrous Armor. Unlike most Urbanmechs, it sports a larger engine allowing it to move faster, it sports an Ultra-Autocannon/5 capable of blistering speed that two tons of ammunition is quickly exhausted, with two 5-tube Long-Range Missile Racks with one ton of ammunition enough for fire support, and a pair of Extended Range Medium Lasers allowing it to stay on the fight for much longer. To handle the heat of constant firing, it has a total of 10 heatsinks. It has a total of 5 tons of Ferro-Fibrous Armor that makes this 'mech a tougher nut to crack, compared to it's peers along with adequate speed and decent firepower for it's size, it's a surprisingly capable mech that can fit into many paradigms of combat.

The expensive upgrades to the supposedly cheap Urbanmech made this variant unpopular, but it is otherwise rather effective when is put together by any means.

Saw your changes, finding them interesting. The increased Max. Engine is a nice touch. :D

Unfortunately, I did notice however that even though you got the Dynamic Armor fixed up, UM-IIC-H is still missing a Dynamic Structure slot. I counted at least 3 times before posting, almost twisted my brain in a pretzel in trying to make sure I wasn't messing up. Thought you might want to know before someone else caught the oddity, and pointed it out in the image

There is no way an Urbie can ever be too bad to play.

Well, to be honest. Lorewise the Urbie IIC is faster than its Spheroid cousin and replaces the Autocannon for an Ultra variant. As for the implementation in-game it will probably get the same love. Remember how everyone thought how the Urbanmech would be a joke when it came into the game? Now the urbie is pretty intimidating on the field, so the IIC will probably get the same respect.

Even worse, it will get targeted like crazy too. Everybody sees an Urbie, and suddenly gets this urge to kill it.

Yet somehow, I still want the Urbie IIC to be in MWO. Weird, huh?

Yes, along with the Warhammer IIC mech. I want to see some vintage MW2 lineup up of mechs.

You would know what would be Unique for an Urbie IIC...

Giving it 180 degree torso twist!

The Clan tech will mean the IIC will out class the classic Urbie, but the 180 twist will leave the IS version with a distinct advantage.

Dude, that defeats the point. IS version will already have so much armor.

Hello there. It may have been more than a year, but I'm giving this Thread a BUMP for some useful visibility! May the Chassis known as the UrbanMech IIC come to MWO after all this time!!! :D

This thread is unlikely to get hit any time in the next year or two, so I think we're safe in that regard. Now you might ask "Why?" about that. The nice/cool/awesome Moderator person (I hope that 'Ekson Valdez' won't mind me giving them a positive & thankful shout-out to them here!) who locked the thread which you made happened to point over to this thread for where the discussion should continue. Generally speaking, if a Moderator says to go discuss somewhere, then that thread is likely not going to end up getting locked... well, at least if things stay civil and constructive, even if there are disagreements that simply can't be overcome. Also, unless the Moderator actively endorses something, NEVER misinterpret their pointing to a particular thread as being such. B)

And yes, I also hope to see the Clans get their 'UM-IIC' quote-unquote "Trash Can" too. The original UrbanMech can be fun at times, and so should the Clan version be also. :D

Anyone who says no isn't a true MWO player...

Hell yess they are all needed and i would buy them all some twice as i have with my 8 urbies.

Why do i want Urbanmech IIC in the game well the clan equivalent of the IS ones are really important to the players, the urbanmechs have become the house hold name of Battletech.. They are just as popular as the Atlas or the Unseen at this point..

What started as a joke became something beautiful.
