Easy. Yen Lo Wang. XL 300 for that amazing twist rate.
Simple and effective.

Only one mech? Ugh. You're an evil, evil person for making me choose.

Fine. If I could only ever have _one_ mech I'm gonna have to go with the Dragon, purely out of nostalgia for the fact that it was the first mech I tried in MWO back in Closed Beta. Also because probably noone else will choose it and so _someone_ has to for it to be represented on the battlefield. As a die-hard Draconis Combine fanboy since the mid-80's I'm sort of required by nerd law to pick a DC mech.

Locust 1E

Probably with six Medium Lasers.

Been playing Locusts since early 2014. Big, sm0l, quirked, unquirked, doesn't matter. I will take faces with it.

I would go for the most intense experience in MWO.
-Locust 1E (6x Small Pulse Laser)
(It's even more fun than solo killing (silly) snipers in a KGC-000 w. 6x AC2 from 800m-1200m away)
Playing solely Locust, I'd probably OD on adrenaline, but whatever...

I mean, that's a solid build and I have run it a lot myself, but I think I prefer the same damage with greater range and only marginally longer duration using 3x MPL and 2x SL on an LCT-3M if that's what I'm going for. There is no denying the advantages in flexibility the extra range gives you.

What? You mean, like a mech in MWO already?

It might be a 'garrison' regulated mech, but same. I'd opt for the D however.
