...because I said I wanted to do the Huntsman after I finished with my Banshee. And he called it a P2W 'mech. Even though it's been out for CBills for like three months. What the hell is wrong with people? Seriously.

More on point, sounds like the guy was just another tool. I find it interesting you are going from a Banshee to a Huntsman, though. Such totally different mechs.

I only own one but let me tell ya, 1 gauss +5 cerml do a shitload of damage for a 50tonner and the jj are easy to use.

I'm a light pilot at heart. But I own every light 'mech. Have for a long time. As such, I have branched out into all other weight classes and have a large stable of all of them and am proficient in every weight class. It's no problem for me to switch from an Assault to a Medium. And I am interested in the Huntsman.

She's a workhorse. She won't be as comfortable to you as, say, a Viper or Shadow Cat, which move more like light mechs, and she won't be nearly as durable as a heavy or an assault. But she does bring a nice blend of mobility and firepower. Best advice for the HMN is to find something big and support it. The enemy is more likely to shoot your allied assault than you, and you are given time to put out some serious hurt on some fools. But those light mech shoot and scoot habits? Might serve you very well in the mech.

Yeah I can't even sit still in my Assault 'mechs. I can feel the grim reaper breathing down my neck every time I let off the throttle.

Heh, I'm currently leveling Spiders, Phoenix Hawks, and Huntsmen.

The Huntsman... I appreciate that it can do one or two things better than the Hunchy IIC, but that's it. It plays more like a mini-heavy than a true medium.

So, did he really "rip into you?" Or did he simply say, "it's a P2W mech." Context matters.

I consider "Ripping into someone" what I heard a Gunnery Sergeant (who had his body armor with bullet holes in it hanging in his office) do with someone after learning he was out in town lying about being an Iraq war vet. Short of that is probably just a "heated discussion" at most.
