So the breakdown of HSP:
23 Nodes for a Mech that has all Basic Skills unlocked on the live server
57 Nodes for Elite unlocks
91 Nodes for a Mastered Mech
What if all live Mastered mechs transfered over with 74 HSP, and we still got our full C-Bill refunds for modules?

yes,, you will be reembursed for the modules, and consumables, you have in your inventory, or on your mech, when they make the switchover.

Don't you want the full 91 HSPs for your Mastered Mech?
I know I would...Given that I don't really have the time to regrind those last 17 HSPs per mastered mech.
Hard enough keeping up with the new mechs that pop out every month.

Actually with the way they're doing the Module refunds, I'm going to be stuck with thousands of Nodes worth of GSP I won't be able to use.
What this idea would accomplish is preserving the "progress" that Russ seemed to get stuck on during the podcast. But it would also reward those like me who have spent 700,000,000 on Modules.
The concept of "Mastery" under the existing skill tree is somewhat meaningless if you haven't put a module in that extra slot that gets opened up. While I wholeheartedly agree that Russ's "Cheapskate" comment was poorly thought out, he wasn't entirely wrong. I can't fault people for swapping modules, but for those like me who own 12 Advanced Seismic Modules and 17 Radar Deprivation Modules, this GSP refund feels like a misguided way of being generous. I literally cannot use up all of my GSP if I were to unlock all 242 Nodes on every single mech I own.
