Reading and playing are two different things. I think that the only players with a right to an opinion regarding the Skill Tree are the ones that actually took the time to try it out in the PTS.

Yes, it will makes my Clan 'mechs even more powerful than they already are, and many of my IS 'mechs will become worse.

I don't think people are concerned about balance. I think some people are concerned with maintaining the status quo.

Really? It's basically a CLRM system that does more damage the closer you are. Still gets rekt by AMS, Radar Derp, cover, the new LAMs, ECM, Stealth armor, and anyone with half a brain.
