Player volume risks more players fully seeing and experiencing the idiocy of their skill maze and all the related unbalancing nerfs. Better not risk that - and the cancelled mech packs that come with it - and just shut the PTS down early. Then, ram the skill maze down everyone's throats and hope that new tech sales will balance it out.

Basically the response on the forums was so negative that it took them three days to realize they better make some changes if the ever want to get the community to accept the skill tree.
That is very much not what they said they are doing. Filling the PTS with ****posts was a mistake if you wanted more changes than what they say they will be doing with Firepower (which was needed).
