Of course not... just kinda irked. I don't get why the concept art isn't more closely followed. It's like advertising a full size truck with a lift kit, and getting a short bed low rider.

It's still better than the Dire Wolf, but with the engine decoupling, my faith in having fun in the game even with my pride and joy is wavering.

Find a new pride and joy?

The Bushy has taken the place of the Warhammer for me... Much faster to get into matches with a medium than it is with a heavy....

Does anyone else thing that it looks like they might have fixed the arms and made them longer (less stubby)? It is difficult to tell from the angle in this recent screenshot but it looks like they are closer to the concept art to me.

Still looks like a doe Mk. II... it lacks the racks of the male Mk. II.

Isn't it usually the females that have "racks"? Posted Image

Depending on the species... Posted Image

Dear:
Bucks (males) have racks

Moose:
Bull (males) have racks

Cattle:
Bull (Males) have horns

Goats:
Males have horns

Humans:
Females have rakcs

It appears that humans are the odd member of the animal kingdom, we do things backwards.

I've never heard the word "rack" being used to refer to antlers. I'm not a native speaker. *shrug*

Hard to tell exactly what it looks like, with the legs in water and the muzzle flash obscuring the arms and part of the torso.

So am I imagining things, or do the gauss rifle barrels still look way too long? They pretty much look just like the early model, that you guys were trying to get changed.

These screenshots are usually made relatively close to release, right? Meaning that his is probably how we're gonna get the mech?

Yes nothing but the rotation of the gauss barrels was changed.

Never looked bad but it could have been better. I'm still happy it's finally in the game!

IMO single weapon should be centered (or either shorter), currently it looks just stupid and illogical.

Remember you're buying the art, if you really hated it just refund. If 10 people refunded, then they might fix it. If no one refunds, then yall lying and are perfectly happy with it :P

I never bought it...making it hard to refund. I was gifted the Annihilator.... which would ....means someone else gets the refund? Lol.

I can tell you if I had bought the mkII or Uzi, this would mark the first time in MWO history I would refund. The Anni and Coug are meh, but not end of days bad.

But that mkII and Uzi are Grade A Arse.

I'm happy enough with the model. Its the hardpoints that look slack. That laser beard doesn't look cool, and the gauss rifle placement gets worse every time I see it. Large ballistics should be centered and hidden inside the cowling like the concept indicates. If they must stick out from the arm for some reason at least make them look cool like they do on the Highlander IIC or something.

Worse, none of the weapon parts were painted ie: its not even finished. There will be solid black textures loaded into memory for the missile pods and laser pod colour channels if its anything like the PTS files indicate.

Yeah I don't get how they ended up with gauss rifles like that. In the concept art AND low-poly preview the rifles were much shorter and looked correct (aside from the incorrect rotation in the preview). In the low-poly, they had also even taken the time to model in the extra minor filler details that were in the arms above the gauss rifles in the concept art.
In the final version that extra detail had just totally disappeared. The arms look empty and the gauss rifles look flimsy and unimpressive. I can't tell if this is all just the result of a rush-job or what.
Seems like the artists had it all worked out nicely in the low-poly for the most part, and then when it came to implementing the dynamic geo everything just fell apart.

I think I might buy this 'Mech since it turns out to be good enough look-wise although it's not exactly as I hoped for.

I hope that Sean Lang will post a preview video soon like what he usually did.
