Well, yea i'm very well aware that's kinda why i've been off from any FW what so ever before.
Cuz im just a casual scrub who does QP every now and then.

But i've been interested in joining FW, however i don't feel i've to time commitment to join the serious units, or the unit i'd like to join Clan ghost Bear international.
The needs to be online at any given time etc, is not for me.

Even tho i've been highly competetive in other games, MWO for me is just a, play every now and then game. Mainly due how unsocial this game is, i love being social but this game is so much.. i dunno solo.....

So i just do QPs

But i read what tuk2 was and now i'm interested to atleast try attest in this event

But yea if some ghostbear faction feel like they would like to recruit me, i'm all ears.
My headset recently broke so atm in qp i've just used laptops inbuilt mic and it works, but it won't work well for Teamspeak.
However i could connect my old headset just for the mic, qpadqh90 ONTOP of my current headset
Which i occansionally do but it's very heavy to have 2 heatsets on at the same time just for the mic.

But ye all in all i'm a semi potato i guess...
I like trying out funny and weird builds when i play, however whenever i play meta i do very well. Hence i got dropped into t3 realy quickly. Which i both love n hate due i find my own team is usualy t5 while enemy is t1.....


Anyway today i bought a kodiak pack im lvling as i'm mainly a light pilot but feel i need some assaults.

Aaand now it's time to snooze...

Edit: Also yea i know about getting mechbays doing mercs n stuff, but that doesnt bother me i don't care.
Atm i feel i wanna pledge my loyalty. And i'll be happy with that As i've been keeping clan ghostbear colors n item ingame for QP for the longest time.
So figured if i'ma adventure into this it'll be GB.

Tho i'm very well aware to get rolled due it's public que, but aswell due i'm a total newbie to these modes.
Apart from what i've seen on youtube.

So now i've tried some FW in preparation and it was great fun!
Aswell i meet a new friend in there which hasnt happened over the year i've played in QP:
But event or not, this sparked my interest into this game mode,

The best way to have fun in MWO in general is in groups. Team speak seems to be the standard most units have TS server. Or you can log in to the community hub servers and see who is around. Peeps are always welcome on our TS @ exiledkeshik.teamspeak3.com I think we will be clan for this event, up until sunday anyway so any clanners are more than welcome. Or commstar @ na1.mech-connect.net is another great hub for droppping with folks. 54thMR are a good unit and fun to drop with who will be running IS drops and they can be found @ ts.54mr.org. Also there is the FRR hub TS which is mostly IS units @ frrhub.ddns.net:9725 and the stranamechty TS which had loyalist clan units (which I think are merc now?) @ stranamechty.info. Anyhoo lots to choose from and its the best way to enjoy Faction Warfare without a doubt! Even if not dropping feel free to hop on if you have questions re: builds and mechs etc.

The BEST advice for you as a pugger is to find your Faction VOIP HUB and join it!

Ask in channel if there is a spot and take it.

CW is night and day when playing a solo pugger vs part of a group, as it should be.

Your enjoyment of CW will be exponentially better utilizing teamwork in the teamwork queue.

Ive heard rumors people are moving away from TS towards Discord coz it haz no fees, but I havent seen a single discord linked and only been on mercstars. It would be nice to have 1 discord for all clan and 1 for all is instead of having to search dozens of channels/servers to find people like TS

Since all the organized groups are primarily IS, I expect to get stuck in skittle group after skittle group. I've got my "All-LRM, All-Potato" deck ready to go. Winning is no longer the objective....earning cbills is.
