Then you have the issue of ghost heat which understandably is designed to keep the game balanced, but the fact it hinders clan mechs more than anything is outrageous. There are soooo many classic designs still missing but they are pushing forward with certain mechs and mech designs. With the Civil War pack coming out, Really Pirahna you should at least make sure you have everything out for 2750-3050 out in game before proceeding mech wise.
Thanks

It is, however, true that the new era opens more possibilities for PGI and thus some of the older designs might be ignored although they could have made it into the game had it not been for the timejump. One of my favourites is the Excalibur, and after the timejump I doubt we will ever see it. Also the Nightstar, an excellent Mech, has much greater competition now. So yes, I get your point.
I would not fear though. PGI does not seem to take this "Civil War"-stuff too serious. After all their so-called "Civil War Pack" managed to give the IS two Mechs which had little to no part in the FCCW. Neither Uziel nor Annihilator are even mentioned in FCCW stories or RATs. (Well, perhaps PGI means the Dragoon Civil War - in that case, the Annihilator makes sense...)
In the end, you may get your Mechs. It is just that the competition is tougher now.

Maybe they'll stick to the Civil War pack format. 2 mech packs for each faction. That would help with filling out the mech rosters.

Who cares 'bout the rest?!
I'd like a Vulcan too.

I just hope we can get some stronger mechs on the IS side that match up with the Clans.

On the bright side the in house art team for MWO is providing the mech designs for two upcoming pre-Clan games so if nothing else the designs will be reimported back into MWO for if nothing else to utilize work already completed.

Ummm we have the firestarter, this post might be more of a sarcastic post than an actual one so I'm not sure you really want to add it to the list, I think some people might believe it's true. Also I noticed you didn't have any clan 20 tonners like the fire moth, piranha or howler, it's a gap I'm sure many people want filled.

When is it enough?!
70 chassis and same 10 maps..
Time to prioritize I think?
How about we stop making mech packs and start making MAPS?!

I'd rather see some of the earlier mechs as well.
Tbf though, it's fairly obvious that the timeline jump and introducing "new" is basically just a move to get people to part with their cash. It's pretty much clan mechs release all over again.
They're milking what they can while there are still players left, basically.

He might mean the OmniMech.
Doubt it. He didn't mention the Centurion or Blackjack. Why include the Firestarter Omnimech and not the other two ominmech rebuilds? Also, no mention of the other original IS omnimechs like the Raptor, Sunder and Owens.
Looks like he just failed to catch the mistake of including an existing mech in his "missing mech" list.
No harm really. Just thought it was a funny mistake to make.

Edit: Personally, I just want the Stinger, Wasp and Crusader in order to complete the original mech set (2nd edition) I remember growing up with.

either way, a good mix of old and new would add a lot to this game IMO. Neither the "GET ALL OF 3025 MECHS IN BEFORE ANOTHER SINGLE 3060+ DESIGN" or the "FORGET THE OLD IN WITH ONLY THE NEW"
However with that said, I do expect the next 4 mechs to hit more on the 3058+ TRO's cause selling point of the civil war. Hopefully we go to a mix though after that.
