But instead you dump Tukie-Turkey Shoot III on us.
I don't think there enough IS mech warriors left to put up a good fight.
Did you even bother to look your own metrics.
Do you even have any metrics?
Now you'll get the few ragtag remnant of IS units and massive field of potatoes.
Maybe a few good merc units will switch sides, but I don't think they can switch in time.
Or why should they.
Seriously.
My drop deck will consist of a Victor, Cataphract, Vindicator and a Locust V.
To show my utter disdain.
You want a turkey shoot guess Im gonna oblige you.

I could be wrong, but I think this is going to be the final round of pure IS vs Clan. If I'm not mistaken, during the Civil War era both Clans and IS were using mechs from both sides. IS lances occasionally fielded some Clan mechs, and visa-versa. We'll never see mixed tech, but they might be looking to introduce mixed lances/drop decks.
Event basically gives them a reason to reset the map again, and take away all the planets captured by Clans earning MC.

Even though clan is supposedly auto-win currently, before any kind of real announcement........there are more people in IS compared to clan.
56% to 44%. So those that suspected this event for this weekend will have or will switch to clan for shorter wait times. It happened in round 1 and 2, the big scary units all switched to clan for the shorter wait times.
So there was a lot of 12 man tryhard vs pugs, and of course the pugs lost. PGI disabled ghost dropping so having a numerical advantage didn't matter. NOW, if at any point clan had had more pilots signed up the big units would have went IS and the results would have flipped.
And really, if clan mechs were so good as to guarantee victory........why are there consistently more people signed up for IS?

I would prob do a lot of 4v4 and use my 55 ton IS Mechs
We (both IS and Clan) have had a ton of new players join the game in the last 9
Months and most of them refuse any direction and or training
That goes double for unit players (most think they are Gods gift to MWO)
I don't mine calling myself a potato but I am reluctant to call anyone else that
Anyway should be an ok event

Eh, by the time you finish upgrading them, not enough cheaper on average to worry about.
I dunno why we are even doing a TukIII period.
Could of at least called it the Battle of Coventry, or the Great Refusal and moved forward to another milestone chapter before the actual FCCW.

Population percentages tell you nothing of real value. The state of the current map is a better indicator.

Why is this even a question?

When was the last time they reset contracts? A person would have to at least open the screen to sign up again. Isn't much of a point loading that tab to sign up if you aren't going to play.
Though I suppose one would have to in order to display faction in quickplay/forums.......and a lot of people are loyalists that never move......but, if they are going to participate in Tuk3.......
....which is the entire reason for this thread..........that means they are going to be playing under the flag of their chosen faction

This
Maybe Clan mechs a bit more expensive because the weapons cost more but upgrades like XL engines and Endo+Ferro have the same costs.

I have actually been considering trolling this event with a four Vindicator drop deck of machine guns, NARCs and flamers. I'm still deciding if it's worth it.
