i kind of want to see low tech combat options in this game. even if its some 3rd party pirate wars kind of event. i want to do battle in mechs that can loose to a stock urbie.
The 'Mech that fought and died defending the Concordat from Inner Sphere Aggression down to nearly the very last operational unit. A true Periphery hero!
Cause PGI can't move mount heights at all...and they probably will because the Comp mentality of 'high mount hill humpers' has pretty much contaminated the game entirely.

I had throughts to begin the series not with Brigand, but exactly by the Toro, but fortunately I'm counting it too as well
Nice, but I didn't find the Arbiter. Anyway - may I use it for the next parts of the showcase, where would be applicable?
Also - I don't think that PGI would pick up LDT-5 anyway (due to timeline, possibly will replace it with "their own" variant(s)).
Timeline is not an issue. We already have a mech in the game from 3130, well into the Dark Age. It's the MCII-4 variant.
Timeline = literally thrown out the window.
I'd stay it's only still relevant for hero mechs, and for chassis themselves. (for instance, I wouldn't expect a mech like the Tundra Wolf to show up, even if all of it's equipment was available in the game right now. The chassis itself just isn't introduced until late Jihad, which is just out of reach.)
Well, I just recalled something related to other game, but the context is the same

A little bump to raise awareness for this interesting little Mech. It has a nice lore, it fills a gap in MWO (jump capable 25 ton Mech for the IS), and it would be quite good in game.
The geometry is solid and the hardpoint distribution allows for easy inflation. I am not worried about their location; it's a very light Mech that can be easily used for infighting and you can change your position with ease.
The main drawback is simply the lack of popularity.
