- Clans in lore fight 3 to 1 or 2 to 1 odds
- Clans in lore prefer to fight 1 on 1. Group focus firing is not their way.
Other way is to once the Civil war patch applied remove mech restrictions so only house/clan matters. Allow both sides to field IS or Clan mechs.

My unit and I have had some amazing battles so far and are already talking about the shared memories this event is bringing. You can't put a price on good times had with friends!

Funny they go from a ‘Sorry you got frustrated over lack of control over a mode selection’ to ‘Have another event condition you individually have no control over’ situation…. I’m sure it’s not just me.
I’m not here just to have a whinge.. I just find this is how a lot of people I’m chatting to feel. I could whine in TS, or try and give constructive feed back here.. so I’m going for the latter. Please PGI. Don’t have win conditions players can’t achieve with reasonable effort.. it’s just not fun

I hear you, but if there is a balance issue, this would nail it to the door for all to see. Additionally, granted only one side can get the MAX rewards per day, but at least they didn't tie rewards generally to "win conditions"
You can get everything and only *have* to win 8 scouting matches...

Yeah, the completionist is us craves that. Just remember they are kinda-sorta-maybe-trying to re-enact Tuk... only one side could really win...

True.. but the balance /play mechanics are an issue.. it's also a game and people like to have fun playing games. I want to player base to grow, not get frustrated / disheartened / put off due to win conditions or feeling like they are not rewarded for the same 'work'. There is a Victory and Looser banner dished out at the end... that should be the prize. If it were just the all the bad and noob players were IS, don't punish them with less in game monies.. maybe they need it more so they can get better mechs / afford better equipment for builds? Have said all this.. I finished the challenge on the second day, I have plenty of mechs and I'm fine for currency. I still feel the the above is they general feeling from the player base I've chatted to.

Using the additional logging and diagnostics introduced during the brief downtime on Sunday we identified an issue with the system used for querying pilot data within the frontend menu of the MWO client; this system is used to track your current Contract or Faction allegiance, Unit status, and so on.
The server instability came as a result of this system being utilized by the Floating Chat feature released in our April patch, causing an excessive number of pilot data queries per-second and an overload of the database systems due to the number of Faction Chat participants. This led to a number of issues you may have encountered over the weekend, from mass-disconnections to sluggish performance of the menu systems.
