Tnx all exploiters and brand new system of group vs solo players faction play, im out , if you want feed some trolls go on . For me its tottaly clear FAction Play - is quick play without any matchmaking system , no weight (first drop tottaly random in solo team) no tier system , [Redacted].

all normal players , who yet don't have good unit - ask you IGNORE faction play , more good people in QP, all exploiters in FP .

- Faction Play not bad. We just now have no battle inside sides, that's all. But new phases of battle not strictly QP, good team with nice strategy can do much more by using reinforce of 36 mech than with only 12 in QP.

Sounds like someone got spanked hard in FP and is now crying foul... [Redacted]. You coming onto the FP forums [Redacted] just sounds like you're too used to the skill level in quickplay. Maybe the skill lvl was so different as to seem like magic haxor eh?.... [Redacted]

Just wondering why do you think that 'all normal players' dont have a good unit? This is a tactical teamwork multiplayer game, for the first thing I did was find a good unit to make the most of the game. As for the accusations of cheating / exploiting, sorry but I see very little in MWO that makes me think people are cheating, I hate to break it to you they are just better than you and more coordinated.

- And yes, that's from new FP. As you can see - on IS mech in map with pretty bad temperature. Hard but possible.

... Brand new system of...? Are you new? I mean, your account's not new, but I can account for no other possibility for your claim that groups and solo players being in the same queue is "brand new." Nor have I seen any [Redacted] being given "haven" here.

Sorry Kob but I think if PGI listens to the players CW?FP will make a comeback for all players from new first timers to hardened veterans.

And the CW/FP games are very close and fun in all game modes (Except a 12man VS pugs/small groups) they just need a separate the bucket queue for 6-12 man hard core FP team play which I personally enjoy as well as playing pug/casual so cheer up look me up I will drop with you bro anytime in solo or CW/FP.

- He talking about Phases in Faction Play with elements of Quick Play mechanic instead of pure invasion longroad map. Now we have some phases of battle before come time of Invasion map. And that change make FP more like QP with all its strong and weak sides.

The comparably large ammount of players streaming into CW...oh sorry Fw...no FP it is now, show that ppl desperately want something to do with their hard earned or bought with cold bitter hard earnd reallife money mechs.

But again....its just an other flavor of QP....so sad....so sad....the OP is right since none of the cor problems of CW/FW/FP has been touched ... well its fate will be thae same as before.

-- No missions
-- No Clan/IS balance (or controlled imbalance that is 12 vs 10 or 8 vs 5 with clan rules of engagement in effect)
-- No meassures to keep the tryhard, wannabe pro, minmax exploiters in check (yes driving minmax to the extremes in teams IS versus the spirit of fair play and there for an exploitation of unintended game mechanics)

As much as I rag on PGI for its hamfisted balance attempts, its seemingly nonsensical attempts at "fixing" things that often are not broken, its utter failure at providing a reasonably decent NPE, the dishonest way it approaches its customers and seemingly misleads them with twisted masochistic pleasure...add lets not even get into what they did to my Quickdraw's quirks...even in light of all that, CW can be fun. Even when balance is at its worst and EVIL is smashing me and my fellows in a 12 man of casuals, over and over again, it can still be fun.

How, you may ask?

Because community.

...and booze.

Just using them for illustration (they seem to be the CW boogie man of late). I haven't had the joy of being stomped by them since early in phase 3 though.

The main problem I see with this.... PGI incentivizes CW by giving away mech bays, making it enormously attractive to new players, especially those who are still waffling on whether or not to pay RL $$ on MWO.

And then they put zero MM effort into it so folks can have their HAWDCORE mode.

How hardcore has CW felt? Ever? Maybe it's time to give up on that mentality and stop driving new players away. CW will never be the role-playing hardcore mode we wanted it to be, it's just another game mode.

I have had one drop against them on HPG. Know how one team will at times hit the side with only one lance coming out of it.. that was ugly :)

Skirmish is still Assault without the base timer, it is your spawn locations you have to worry about. Dominion can be nasty of Clans are dropping with brawling setup while IS is med/LRMs (shudders).

Conquest is interesting since you can NOT ignore caps but you also have to be aware of your spawn spots, it is like a floating battle while cutting off access to your rear.

The other is that drop order for QP maps tend to have to be a tad different than FP maps. It has made me change my drop order and initial drop while reevaluating the next mech to take.

Mechwarrior has a loyal fanbase. They'll keep coming back. Most loyal IS players wont do FW until it's really balanced but when it is they'll play it.

People still don't realize that FP is end game content, you don't go into FP with trial mechs and you don't go in with mechs that you haven't leveled up and you don't go in thinking you will solo like in QP
