You don't cook numbers in your corporate statements either as those are legally liable. When Niantic stated they made over $1 billion in revenue back in January for Pokemon Go, you bet they did. Those numbers on mobiles are being pushed by debt being defaulted on, almost for sure. To much of the world works that way, but I think mobile games may rely on this more than most.

For real sales Steam is most likely the best platform and they have not been good for the industry over all either.

As for stores closing look again to Steam.

Not against Steam, or any other online store, just telling like it is. Although retail stores for clothing and such closing is not due to online sales, and there again is epic number cooking.

Again big subject but some ignore common sense for the dollar.

So quick to accuse others of blind spots, but clearly you have your own.

Blame it on "the media."

Again, easy to dismiss these problems when you aren't living right next to them.

And if you fail to acknowledge the systemic racism undergirds American society, then you're as much of the problem as the "couple of bad cops" who are brutalizing black America.

Almost as easy as it is to point the finger and blame everyone else. I'm looking at the police blotter. And at the rap sheets. You? You're slinging propaganda, nothing more.

I happen to be in Stockton, CA btw, which is one of the worst gang areas in the USA, so yeah, whatever.

Just a few of your martyrs.

But it makes for a whole lot better rhetoric and propaganda to ignore the facts and pump the hype, doesn't it?

Numbers on mobiles are counted by Apple and Google. I don't see how Steam is the best portal platform. The console games are their own portal platforms too, like Playstation Network and XBox Live. And I would say after seeing all of them, Google Play is the best, because GOOGLE period. You can search and categorize apps through categories, and you can have different ranks and sorts for apps, like trending, top, and they know how to group games together under the search. I type RPG and all sorts of RPGs come up, and these are ranked according to the most played, best grossing, and best rated. Apps are also rated by players, and that affects the search rank for the app.

You do realize that there are independent analytics on apps for example, like AppAnnie.

Being pushed by debt? How? A game like Monster Strike grosses 1.3 billion in US dollar gross revenue, and there is hardly anything in the game that would incur massive development costs like say, Star Citizen.

I mean, MMD Is a interesting program and all, and some cool stuff can be made with it, but I personally prefer traditional animations over them.

Samurai Jack is a good example of one of them, and a show that I will be watching the last two episodes of these following weeks.

Honestly Bish, who knows where you live. Apparently you change locales in the space of a few hours.

Basically the classic "only the enemies have propaganda."

Listen, I'm not just reading the front pages. I live in a city and I work with community groups addressing these issues. Maybe its different in California/Mexico/wherever you live, but here in Madison lots of black folks are afraid of the police. We're taking strides to restructure to community policing, but it requires recognizing that there are problems to fix them.

Hand-waving away and saying "just a few bad apples" fixes nothing.

Not to mention this is all happening in the United States, where the burden of proof falls on the state. You may not be familiar with this little thing called the Fifth Amendment to the US Constitution, but it reads “No person shall be…deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law…”

So unless your list is exclusively escaped convicts (which it’s not), the state is still obligated to fully investigate each of these killings as murders in violation of the victims’ most basic constitutionally guaranteed rights.

Maybe you haven't been following the news? Just this week, Jordan Edwards, 15.
Tyre King (13-year-old...musta been a real killer)
Tony Robinson (tripping on shrooms, sure, but how many white kids get killed for that?)
Alton Sterling - father
etc.

The current Battletech can appeal to both fans of the more 'Western' style and the more 'Eastern' style as it is. Appealing to fans of multiple aesthetics gives it a better chance of thriving then making appeal to only one type of fan.

You still completely dodged the core point: that mobile games are fundamentally too simplistic to mesh with stuff like BTech. They're the modern equivalent of those handhold Tetris pads or Minesweeper: fun in a pinch, but no gamer would choose one over a real game on their machine of choice. Games for non-gamers who want idle amusement in spare moments.

is it? I say no. battletech when involvin mech commander could easily work as a mobile game. What phones lakc is the peripheral devices for controls, they need to make that up with touch controls or virtual keyboards/pads.

Playign some Mehc commander or Blood bowl on the mobile would totally be sufficient on my way to work or off from work, given it has a "save at any time" function.

A turn based tactics or strategy game would more than fit the hardware of smartphone and a tablet. Those kinds of games are not resource intensive, and strategy games are booming on mobile. The Clash games happen to be strategy games.

For a BT or Mechcommander type game, you can open an ingame app market where you can sell not just mechs, but anything from tanks, infantry units to aerial units.

because gamestop is hooribly too expensive, I can get my stuff cheaper in the internet. Alos PC sales reduce because more and more gamers don't buy complete PC's they are most of the tmes overpriced as wel when labelled as "gamer PC's"

That one is very well done. Drawn and animated over 4 years' worth of weekends !
For those who haven't seen it

Beside that, anyone rembering "Grave of the fireflys"? Also a greate anime thats very seriouse.

Lets say someone would say he is doing a BT-Series, animated, real, CGI, whatever, what timeline would you prefer?

I would like to see the beginnings again, the inner fighting of the greate houses and against each other.
Or go the other extrem and go to the Dark Age and the start of the conflicts there.

Beside that a mini series about the different units would be nice. Espacialy the Grey Death Legion and Wolfs Dragoons.
I wouldn't even mind if they do just a 1:1 retelling of the novels.

Nah, let's go back to the beginning. Start season one maybe a month or two before the Amaris coup. Make that the finale, then start season two with Kerensky kicking as all over the inner sphere. Make that a two season arc so season three ends with Kerensky putting his Orion's foot through the wall at Amaris's palace.
