Wouldn't it be cool if ATMs zip and curve, dancing in the air as they made their way towards the target?

While it would be cool, I doubt that will get added, nor it will be convenient to use in confined spaces, maybe even next to cover. Also could you imagine the possible team damage with those missiles?

yes because people totally need such useless crap in MWO.

thats exactly the coolness that you won't see because no one outside T4 woudl use it.
Just imagne all the tight spots where missiles couldn't hit stuff because they impact houses left and right when going circus. It would surely be a weapon for clowns, just don't forget to decal a red nose.

I don't think that his kind of missile behavior fits with Battletech. To flashy and not very practical.

This.
All i with is that missiles would fly in that crazy swarm they used to. Now IS LRMs are the worst, shot all togeather in a straight trajectory. CLRMs are a bit better, but still.

I sure miss the old LRM fight characteristics and patterns. As to the crazy missile spreads, I could see that being a thing with Streaks more so than the ATMs. If it were implemented, though... nothing too crazy... much tighter spreads to avoid terrain/friendlies.

It was unnatural looking. They spiraled in the exact same pattern from launch to hit.

Spreading out the missiles would be a very practical way to defeat AMS.

More like it doesn't fit PGI, who've systematically removed every visually interesting element of MWO.

It totally fits BTech. BattleTech is literally the '80s in Space, and the entire premise of the setting is founded on a fundamentally flashy and impractical thing: the 'mechs.
