All the games the IS boys run only LL or LPL with all these quirks they are just OP

What he meant was, IS LL or LPL are the only viable weapons for CW--which means IS is UP. Hence IS need buffs.

The only time I've ever taken LLs to FP was in the Enforcer 4r.. and only because it has great LL quirks.

UAC5s are also awesome for hot maps.

SRMs are also good for brawlers.

ERLL if it's a snipe trading map.

OP should have said IS only ever takes LPL/ ERLL / UAC5 / SRM... because, honestly, I don't see anything other than that with successful teams.

More competitive than SRMs. 3x ISLPL = 33 damage for 21 tons, ISAC20 = 20 damage for a minimum of 17 tons. 3x ISLPL is a fine loadout for a medium mech but a single AC 20 is kinda of laughable.......not to even mention better range and hitscan versus the low projectile speed.

As are non-boated clan UACs. Non-gauss ballistics are pretty much fringe playable at this point.

Correct. However, it is comparatively easier to boat CUACs.
