Yes. we should. This is not anevent, this is exercise in retardation. As generous as prises might look they do not worth the frustration of never ending loss streak. Play. Keep slamming your face against the wall that is Clan superiority. The more bruises on our faces, the more data for PGI. And you get fast queues and decent rewards for doing so. And most of the time the games are fun too, like a never-ending series of glorious last stands (that sometimes even end well).

Last match of the night, we had pug + (5 Evil Steiner players) vs pug.

As defenders in Seige mode, we got rofled by 12 battlemasters. It took us 2/3 waves to get this lot cleared up and it didnt matter by then, their next waves had hit us and wiped us out. 48-16 was the end score I think.

If you IS folks want to win, just keep rolling in 12 Battlemasters (and if needs be reinforce them with more battlemasters). I shot through two mech's ST and they survived... must be magic

Boycotting the event wouldn't do a thing other than deny Inner Sphere players a chance at the rewards. At least get the loot first for yourself, it's substantial. Perhaps that is the reason for it, so PGI can persuade us into another Turkeyyid for more data. The Skill tree update is coming and who knows if the current requirements will be changed to level up mechs?

If you don't want the rewards, that's fine, I guess boycott away.

OP has it backward. An event is the only time you dont boycott FW.

Last night I saw an IS team LRMing the gates trying to destroy them.

Yet, in a different match, I saw a largely PUG IS team deploy three waves with 50% Atlases in each, and Clan didn't have anywhere near enough tonnage to hold them back and deny them the win.

So, from my perspective, the biggest balance issue is the number of clueless players on the PUG side.

Yeah the issue here isn't Clan tech. It's that the IS has a smorgasbord of noobs who don't know how to play Faction Warfare and are blaming their failings on Clan tech instead of putting in the effort to get better and learn the game.

But who am i kidding, Clan tech is the sole reason IS is getting slammed, Not sub par builds, not the sub par player base and most certainly not the fact that many are new to the game mode.

There are quite a few Noob-(c) on the clan side, but probably (?) not as many as on the IS side. Lot of dingleberries bringing LRM mistlynx and such to scouting, or who reinforce with all their mechs before the first wave has fallen, etc.

There are a lot more No-Icon, No-Title (and no-faction) players in FP than before...
