Right now with tuk event it wouldnt make any difference, IS would still be insta and clan still about 5 to 10. It would also go a long way to keeping people playing as the main reason people stop is getting sick of getting baby seal clubbed and it would alleviate that.

Pug vs pug is most of the time enjoyable. Pug vs team is just bad and I don't understand why PGI is allowing this. For the team it's just boring to farm the pugs and pugs are quitting the game because... reasons.

But I have to say I won with a complete pug team vs a 10 man team yesterday. Was really funny, at least for us. Posted Image

I played FP a few days after installing the game using a trial mech deck, dropped with MGA and 1FWG, and their hospitality and playing on a comms is what hooked me on MechWarrior.

My favorite part about the event is that it's getting people to play again and I can reliably find 12 man's to drop with.

Mostly lately before BoT3 I've just been playing QP because that's where my people are.

So, 2/3 see an imbalance and a full 1/3 of the Player Base will not play the "Flagship" game mode of MWO.

It's been on a downward spiral for years. Events can't fix poor design.

Reminds me of the RMS Titanic...

its a pity that faction warfare outside of events is just quickplay with respawns. takes a whole lot of interest out of playing that dirt at all.

the other maps at the end of the scale are far more interesting. and this game DIRELY needs new maps. really. MAPS. MAPS.
some stuff like terra therma only exists in theory. as do those special FW maps. you NEVER see them.

I don't touch this gamemode outside of events.

Waiting times before the game starts.

Risk of stomps against units/organized groups / no interest in units myself

Waiting until the loss sets in after the first wave failed, more wasted time

Worse rewards than QP

Worse game modes in my opinion - two attack lanes like in a moba, lol
