What do you guys think of a hero mech exchange or trade in? Basically if you find you're dissatisfied with a hero you trade in one you own to get the one you want.

Nope.

Back in the day PGI was concerned about P2W, such thart the heroes of old were generally crap or extremely niche relative to their chassis mates. More recently PGI has seemingly -with hits and misses- stopped worrying about P2W. If folks could trade in old heroes for new, the flood of exchanging mechs mechs like the Deaths Knell, or Anansi for mechs like the Spirit Bear, or Phaket, or Jade Kite, or Scortch would be a veritable flood of refund requests.

p2w lol my hero mechs even with cbill bonus make less because they're junk. Skill tree is nerfing the few i like too.

I would trade most of them in even for 50% mc at this point.

I haven't dusted off my Ember and Dragon Slayer, since 2015. Sad.

I think people would find a way to abuse it like they do every other aspect of the game.

However, I would trade in my Jester if given the chance. The rescale was a good thing for its performance but I don't like the new model/texture.

I use my old heroes on the Tukayyid Event =)

Attack dropship : Locust 1V(P), Marauder 3R(S), Battlemaster -1GHE(Hellslinger), Dragon Slayer

Defend dropship : Centurion NCIX, Sparky, Ilya Muromets, Heavy Metal

So now, they have no dust on them anymore... They are not top performers, but well. They still work !!!

But i still have some heroes that gather a lot of dus : Pretty Baby, X5, The Death Knell, Protector, Ember, Anansi...

I recently busted out my Death Knell for a few FW matches, and it did quite well. Was able to go one on one with a Cheetah and come out on top, harass heavies to death... My Commando-Fu isn't as rusty as I feared, I guess.
