they could always do "personal challenge" for the clans. Then do a clans only event next time.

That would be interesting. But id rather faction wars stay deserted and quickplay populated.

Steiner - Davion
Liao - St.Ives/Davion
Kurita - Ghostbeard Dominion
Wolf - Wolf Exile
Wolf - Jadefalcon
Marik - .... well they just sell weapons to everyone. Oh and maybe support some Bandit states
Oh and some of the minor clans fighting over the scaps of the homeworlds, whats left by the Ghostbears.
Also Ghostbears retreat battles? Did they happen before this?
Word of Blake is also starting to get active.
So planty of conflicts to choose from.

No, we never had a Fedcom...
Well then, the civil war within this nonexistent entitity should be a real humdinger of an event with participants of similar nonexistent identities. Perhaps the nonexistent clan factions can fight it out with the nonexistent periphery states?

Definitly want to see "Word of Blake" as they bring a lot of interesting mechs with them.
Also Rasalhag and Ghostbears would have to be one faction! How do they solve that?
Then all Steiner and Davion Loyalists would have to decide where they want to be.
Liao players can be split in two, same as Wolf. Some of the smaller Clans could be incooperated into the existing ones.
Will be interesting how they solve that...most likely by just keeping everyone appart and do nothing.

Well overall the FCCW was mostly a FedCom-show, unsurprisingly so, but there are still some things I'd like to point out:
- It was not Steiner vs Davion. It was Loyalists (Katherine) vs Allied (Victor), with Steiner and Davion units on both sides. Also there were numerous neutral factions within the former Federated Commonwealth like Adam Steiner and his Melissia-theatre.
- Wolf Dragoons had no part in the FCCW.
- Clans were involved rather substantially, with the Jade Falcon-incursion on the one hand, and the Wolves-in-Exile siding with the Allies under Peter Steiner-Davion. The Ghost Bears were fighting a war against the Draconis Combine during the FCCW, although that was not part of the FCCW itself.
- The Draconis Combine saw some action against Lyrans (Lyons' Thumb) and the FedSuns (rogue March Draconis-attack)
- The Capellans had a minor but important involvement in the conquest of Tikonov; furthermore Victor had some Capellan units with him like 1st St.-Ives Lancers and the Blackwind Lancers.
- ComStar was involved a lot; some units fighting in the FCCW directly, some repelling the Jade Falcons.
- Regional independence movements had a role, although none as signficant as Free Skye.
- And I am sure there is more I have just forgotten atm. Probably a lot.
To be honest, the FCCW was a complicated affair because so many factions with many different goals, and I have no idea how PGI is going to address this.
I am afraid they just won't address it at all.

Clan Jade Falcon vs Steiner
Clan Hell's Horses vs Clan Ghost Bear
Clan Ghost Bear (Ghost Bear Dominion) vs Draconis Combine
Cappellan vs St Ives
Clan Wolf vs Clan Jade Falcon
Draconis Combine vs FedSuns
Calderon Protectorate vs Tauran Concordant
Word of Blake causing trouble with everyone.
No idea what we will actually get.

Of course, the civil war involves a faction that doesnt exist and the clan vs clan infighting would be over arguments after losing the Battle of Tukyyid, which also didn't happen... Three times...

Plus, I'm having doubts they'll do the obvious, necessary stuff like removing Smoke Jaguar and replacing it with Nova Cat (preferable because of their massive influence very soon in the timeline,) Diamond Shark, or even Wolf-in-Exile. In roughly two years, they couldn't work in IS vs IS or Clan vs Clan fights (which are canon between certain factions btw) into the Clan Invasion FP even as random battles to break the monotony, so forgive me if I'm also having doubts that they'll spice up the Civil War FP by including side-events like the Jade Falcon territory grab into Lyran space or Draconis Combine vs pretty much everyone else at one point or another (as par for House Kurita.) I guess PGI learned from some of their mistakes though considering at least they didn't give us the finger with $500 golden Civil War mechs.
