So I saw that skill points were 91/200 something and thought, OK, maybe more will be unlocked in the future.

However, it seems it is not the case, but the menu allows you to convert more than 91 SP per mech.

Now that mech has 5 extra useless SP points, can I get them back?

Mind you minor issue, but still...

You'll need more skill points if you wish to change to different skill nodes after having confirmed the 91 previously. Although once unlocked a skill node only costs 400XP and no cbills to go back to.

There's no way to get those 5 back. sorry. :(

You can only use 91 skills nodes at a time, but you can unlock all of them if you want to. Then when you want to change abilities later you turn some active ones off, and some unlocked ones on.
