So I have no controller installed. Current Keyboard and Mouse worked 100% a few months ago before I took a break..

Came back today to try out the Javelin I purchased a few months ago and I cant even play.

As soon as I load up the game and I try to move I can go forward and go backwards. However when I try to use 'a' and 'd' to turn the legs nothing happens. MWO does have keybinds setup for these keys too.

Also as soon as the game starts up the torso/reticle starts moving slowly to the left without the mouse moving.

I have tried other games, no problems.
I have tried reinstalling, no problems.
I have tried deleting my .cfg files and redownloading them via steam and trying fresh. Still happens.
This is a Steam installed version of the game.

Any ideas?

Thank you everyone.

I had a similiar issue. it comes up sometimes. But its even worse, ill go full speed ahead - and if it becomes worth my mech is additionally full tunring to one side. Got no working help here in forum - but the good thing is it goes away, so come back in a few days and look if its still same or gone.

Got the auto mouse turning to stop.

Still am unable to turn legs with 'a' and 'd'. even tried rebinding the controls to different buttons, same problem. even attempted a reset to default. same problem

Even uninstalled the game completely from steam and reinstalled from the MWO portal and still, same problem. Unable to use the mechs legs. Now I can play semi fine if I hold F down 100% of the time to lock legs and torso together,. but that is not what I should have to do.

So I ended up finding out that it was my xBox One wireless dongle that was causing the problem. It did not cause an issue a few months ago. I guess with a newer update withinthe last 3-4 months it started having conflicts?

Likely a windows update that changed something but thanks for replying back what the issue was with yours.
