So they took all my modules and mostly "refunded" them in GXP? I had 24 seismic sensors that cost me 144,000,000 cbills and now I have 3200 GXP as a refund. And that's just one module type. When I total it up it comes to 658,000,000 cbills worth of modules that I am being "refunded"
14,623 GXP for. PGI says they are trying to spare players a grind, WHAT ABOUT THE GRIND I ALREADY PUT IN TO THE TUNE OF 658,000,000 CBILLS!!!!! I really like this game but this is so unfair I don't know if I'll be able to stand it. I for sure will not be looking to buy any new mechs. FIX THIS PGI !!

No, they refunded them in GSP, not GXP. GSP does not require C-Bills to get a skill point, but GXP does.

Also, consider it depreciation for the use you got out of them.

Yah alot of folks are jumping ship and going to other games. PGI royally jacked up this game. now its Mechlab click tech..... waste of time.

I sold some of my old modules before the switch. Guess what happened? they accounted them as post dec 3rd modules...

had a screenshot from PTS2 57mil Cbills worth of modules
when the refund came I got 34mil back (9modules)
I wrote to support, their answer was you purchased 6 modules, that's what you got refunded.

Well ... no, I got refunded 9 modules and I purchased more than that .... as shown in PTS 2

They advertised the refund to be "fair" and that all modules purchased after dec 3rd would be refunded fully in C-Bills. In reality something went very very wrong on my side, to say the least, they have no clue when which module was purchased.

So yes, GSP aside ... major RIP OFF!

Bad news: you lost your C-bills and game now has an additional C-bill sink.

Good news: you have so many GSPs now that you won't even notice that sink for a long time.

But don't underestimate the sink's hunger for C-bills, I wasted more than 1k of GSP just in 2 or 3 days and still have many mechs to master.

I have enough GSP to master the next 160 Mechs on top of the ones I can master with my HSP, once that runs out... I will start to worry about a sink. However, I need to buy the 160 Mechs, which requires Bays and Bills.
ok, lets put an average price on Mechs, 12.000.000 sounds about right, Upgrades like DHS, Engines + Equipment...
Now, If I master one new Mech every week it will take me a little more than three years to use up all of my GSP, but I will also need to earn 12.000.000 Cash to be able to pay for the new mechs.
given an average income of 150.000 C-Bills per match, it will take 80 matches a week to earn that amount of C-Bills
lets say an average match lasts for 10 minutes that's 800 minutes of pure match time. Tweaking, building, skilling and waiting not included. add that time to the pure match time you need and you are easily looking at 15hours of game every week...
just to be able to use up those GSP in 3 Years!!!! and that does not yet include the Bays you need to buy to host your new babies.

Now value that against a full C-Bill refund:
No need to grind c-Bills like a maniac
New Mechs and new Tech can be acquired right away
you actually need to play the Mechs to grind the XP
sink is working as intended

GSP:
grind bills like a maniac just to be able to use all of your GSP
you have to decide, Mechs or Tech or both (both would prolong the grind)
You actually don't have to play the mechs, GSP them, play them once, realize you have other mechs that do it better, drop and forget you ever bought it instead of trying to "make them work"
sink will start to work as intended once all your GSP is used
