Zephon is Hebrew for "observant", I've always felt sympathetic to the jewish background, but it's really interesting to me. And arch just emphasizes me as a very observant person, plus as a pilot too. I learn to adapt to other player's combat techniques, and I always try to outsmart them and understand if I'm too impatient when competing. II is just there to express that I'm still learning on seeking every detail on my surroundings, that's all.

Mine I sorta just randomly typed in and it accepted. I thought for sure it would be taken

Just randomly typed in a cool "Mech" Pilot name. It turned out cool, though!

An ancient Egyptian god of death, pre-dating even the Osiris cult. Seker inhabits the most dark and treacherous place in the Duat (Underworld) and even the mighty god Ra sails around Seker's abode in his nightly travel to combat Apep (Apophis).

Well it actually started w/ the TT game. A friend and I started a trinary for wolf clan that was the addams company. He was Fester and I became Gomez. Later we started the Warpig Mercenary Company for the IS and we carried that over to MPBT 3025.

Hence WMC Gomez.

Pretty straight forward.

Source: Wikipedia
Wulver: The wulver is a kind of werewolf that is exclusively part of the folklore of the Shetland Islands of Scotland. The wulver kept to itself and was not aggressive if left in peace. Unlike most 'werewolves' the Wulver is not a shapeshifter and is not nor was it ever a human being. It appears to be a sort of immortal spirit. Jessie Saxby, in Shetland Traditional Lore (Chapter 9), writes, "The Wulver was a creature like a man with a wolf's head. He had short brown hair all over him. His home was a cave dug out of the side of a steep knowe, half-way up a hill. He didn't molest folk if folk didn't molest him. He was fond of fishing, and had a small rock in the deep water which is known to this day as the 'Wulver's Stane'. There he would sit fishing sillaks and piltaks for hour after hour. He was reported to have frequently left a few fish on the window-sill of some poor body.

Nothing special, just a name I picked years ago to be unique and identify me to those who know me. I would have used my older names of Entropy or Conrad, but those are common enough to have been taken before I could register with MWO. I'm hoping I can eventually link up with some of my old mates from a decade ago.

My online comrades call me the man with many names, because i used so many different names in all the games i played.

I try to find names fit for a character, like playing a fantasy RPG with some guy using swords, i usually go by Swordsman or similar.
First time i used Reno Blade was around 2000 back in last years of school, while playing Diablo2 and CS ;)
I think around this time, Blade was in the Cinema and TV also.

First name in MW /MPBT was Kai Allard because i first read about the stories of Kai and his problems with successof of Justin Allard which felt familar with my school live back then.
In MPBT 3025 i already used Reno Blade in BT games and i continue to use this name for multiple games.
As its not the same as Swordsman, it has a similarity while sounding cool, but at the same time sound like a name (firstname, lastname).

My screen name is pretty unique, being derived from 3 sources. First being an obscure web-browser flash game. I then modified it to suit my preferences. "Vol" for lightning based weapon preference in fantasy genre games, and "thorne" he amazing uses I can find for armor spikes (Use #37: get a spiked spaulder, stick it to a vertical post, and you have an instant coat rack!) - the 'e' on the end is a little bit of extra flair. "Volthorne" also looks great in Anglo-Frisian runes, which was a side bonus.

My OTHER handle is Jarmug (google for a pic) because it's just simply the best drink-holding container ever.

My name comes from a warlord of the Mantis race from Conquest Frontier Wars. Azkar, who specialized in fighter carrier spacecraft.

ALMSIVI is what the Tribunal of living Gods from Morrowind are called. The Tribunal is ALMSIVI. Picked it up because I loved Morrowind and it's Dark Elven culture.

Azkar Almsivi.

Hangfire comes from an event in my youth when I was in the army, I was a #2 in a mortar team, we were on a live fire exercise doing a 'fire for effect' when our gun let out a dull thud rather than the loud crack we were used to. The call of HANGFIRE!! HANGFIRE!! HANGFIRE!! went out and everyone except my team scattered. The propellant charge hadn't went off as it should leaving a live frag bomb in the barrel, the three of us had to remove the bomb without killing ourselves. Hangfire is not a good thing,, and neither am I ;)

My sig txt is the 1st words spoken by the character 'Blank Reg' in the original 'Max Headroom - 20 minutes into the future'

It's the name of my first online character I ever created, starting with EverQuest, and just about every MMO, or multiplayer game since. I've always had the name, and consider it "mine".

I make a point of changing my handle every few years. Makes it harder to track me. If it helps, though, my first handle back in the hoary old days of BBSes was "Car," and so it became a running joke for people to ask me what model.

Here on MWO, I picked Ghost for several reasons. For one, you'll notice my UID is 405--I'm part of the first 500. Judging by the number of people on the forum named some variation of Ghost, I guess getting here early was practically a requirement. The other reason I picked Ghost is actually because it's the nickname of a character I made in a very long-running campaign (1+ years) set in the Warhammer 40k tabletop RPG called Dark Heresy.

Kleais is the name of the Kin I belong to. A Kin is a Clan, but it contains ACTUAL blood-relatives. We chose greek first names that matched the first letter of our actual names. I chose Aegis due to it's protective nature matching how I play in game.

As for my sig, that's Griever, my "go to " chassis variant for the Timber Wolf. Standard Gun Metal Gray and triple orange stripe pattern.

Cloudcobra was my character's name in World of Warcraft for like 5 years. I picked it in the first place cuz it was the only clan name not taken when i made the toon. I just got used to it so i figured i'd stick with it. As for my signature it's a quote from a Jade Falcon in MW4.

My screen name's origin is based on an initial of three letters, but I expanded it to form a first and last name. (The middle initial was excluded from the naming scheme.) The reason I chose Samuel Maxwell is because both parts of the name were common enough so as to be inconspicuous, and the reason I wanted my name to be inconspicuous is to symbolize that my character is just one soldier in a universe of many, that the death/inclusion of my character will not affect the predetermined outcome in the universe.
