for me, the first time i used my screen name was on roblox, after forgetting my old one. i took the name to other sites, and a close variant even want on to become my XBL tag. not much story, but that's how it happened.

I like big cats and I cannot lie…I volunteered at Bear Creek Feline Center when I lived in FL, and thought about using the name of one of their cats, such as the Florida Panther named Saint, or something to do with a mountain lion or Felis Concolor. I thought about calling myself “Jaguar”, which is a nifty cat and my friends at Bear Creek want to see more of them.

Then again, “Jaguar” might be politically incorrect when the clans show up and the Smoke Jaguars commit atrocities against civilians.
I thought about naming myself Shere Khan, for the tiger in the Jungle Book. But, after a year in Afghanistan, "Khan" has other connotations now. I thought about naming myself for one of my cats, but none of their names are cool enough for MWO.
I also thought about “LoLcat” and “ReallyReallyMadCat”.

I tried to name myself “Lynx” for one of the mechwarriors in MechCommander, but that name was apparently taken.
I also got an error message when I tried to use the name "Leopard". I had a bunch of other names lined up to try, but I started thinking "What might sound cool with 'Leopard'?"
