Bottom line is, yes, Hero mechs should be attractive enough to buy, but not to become blatant powercreep among its variants. However, omnimech and battlemchs are fundamentally different enough so that the argument about Hero mechs should not lump them together.

So it's okay to complain about IIC Heroes for underpowered. That's fair game.

Nope, still don't see the logic. Either they are all ok, are none of them are ok.

Doubt the Jenner will amount to much, but 3 machine guns is still somewhat fun. Past that you get a c-bill bonus and a mech that has a somewhat different play concept than the c-bill counterparts. Pretty much the same in all the heroes after the Yen-Lo.

No they won't be uber meta, but the heroes shouldn't be anyhow they should just be mechs designed for the role the fictitious pilot that ran them had them set up to do. As long as they fall somewhere the middle of the mech battle value scale they are where they need to be.

Who knows, maybe someone at PGI actually considered some sort of balance when creating a mech for a change? Crazy, but possible.

ummm 3 MG?? try 6 HMG instead.. with how fast you can crit out someone now using 3-4 mg, that thing will be a troll monster i think..
