I'm honestly so confused.
So, I have ER L and Gauss with Lvl 7 Computer.
So, I am looking for 2 bonuses from the TComp7, right?
One is projectile speed (which, the description doesn't mention Guass anymore, is the gauss rifle projectile no longer supported by TComp?)
So my gauss projectile speed is 2000. I assume that it should go to 2700, but it doesn't.
But let's just say the TComp7 no longer support guass (which is somehow, not how I remembered it)
But beam range... there is NO WAY that can be mistakened.
Right now, it says 740 (optimal) +111 from skill.
Whether I install TComp 7 or not... that stat line DOES NOT CHANGE.
So I take my mech into training, and it shows the correct 925m.
But there is no way to verify Gauss speed...
Can the text actually display the correct value, and also, did TCOMP never increase gauss velocity?

The tcomp did affect Gauss.
I assume it still does, and that the effects of the tcomp are just not shown in the UI, because PGI.
As the beam range DOES work, and DOES NOT show in the UI, that supports this behaviors.
There is a way to test, though. You can see when the Gauss round impacts, even at extreme range. Time it. Head to, say, Alpine. Find a nice long range, fire and time. At a significant enough distance, the timing difference between fire/impact should be quite noticable. Of course, do several shots each with and without the TC, to keep control of measurement error and such.

All I can say is that the TCMK 1 is definitely working for laser range in live drops.

Should increase it, yes

The TC bonuses are not showing up in the "green" brackets next to weapons like the Skill Tree quirks/bonuses are. So it's same as before.
1. Work it out on paper
2. Drop in the mech and see
But yes the buffs are 100% being applied, I've checked it on Beam / Projectile weapons.

Targeting system/sensor bonuses do not show in the mechlab screens and never have. So that includes artemis, command consoles, active probes and computers.

Thanks OP I totally missed that as I've been skill treeing before looking at stats. I wondered why I was overleading in a match yesterday for the first few PPC shots.... I'd even carefully written the speed of the projectile to remind me as the mech name.
Yeah might be but I presumed as they now have a funky much improved screen to demonstrate the quirks and skill effects it would include the fitted equipment. Not really much of a help for a new player at all.
