The teams I have been on the past 4 days or so have been absolutely atrocious... like playing Sunday morning on the European server level of bad. Is this because there are so many new players/returning players or was there the silent exodus of the good players? I so rarely see any names of people I recognize that I fear it is the latter.

It could also be that tons of new players are giving it a shot, and lotta old folks have returned..


But yes OP, the average match you can get thrown in with lots of newer players..

What JC said. Many I know stopped playing and came back to check out the new Skill Tree. I am betting they are a bit rusty.
Wait until the Civil war tech comes out in July. That will be really funny.

I really hope you are right and the sea of people who have no idea what game they are playing is drowning out the players I am used to seeing like trying to stiffen a bucket of spit with shotgun pellets... my fear is that the shotgun pellets have just drifted away or heavily reduced their play time. Cause New Mech day is not even this bad and that is the worst skill level day of the month, this is repeating day after day after day since Monday. Cause I was still seeing people "trying out new builds" last week & the weekend is already bad, but the play on a Thursday night in NA primetime should normally be magnitudes greater than this.

Laser vomit still sticks. A 6AC5 Mauler also sticks, hilariously slowly. My Boom Raven doesn't stick, unless I'm 4 or 5 beers down the rabbit hole.

Atrocious yes that's the right word. That was worth winning 3 premium days and open a cache and get 3 others i'm barely able to play because this is just not entertaining.

I wish they would increase the time threshold for MM to quit matching people on skill. I routinely see rank 5s and 4s in my matches.

All I am going to say is...

Average Euro servers - Some German or dutch guy - "Ok guise, lets move to H5 and engage them there" - (win or lose) "oh well guys GG"

Average American servers - some greasy yank ******* - " OMG you guys suck, oh my gawwd, **** **** **** **** move here go there oh my god guys you ******* suck!"



Late night American server is a lot more hardcore that daytime Euro that is for sure. However honestly its so toxic and agressive on there that I would rather play with polite potatos than angry nerds.

you might be surprised at the skills both in game and in real life some people have but still like to go potato with a steering wheel from the couch.

me i actually dislike been part of formal organised groups n teams because i learned long ago ( i had one of those bad sporting competition parents the publicly embarrassing type ) gettin too serious can suck fun out of anything.

potato solo is about all i ever did in this game i took one look at cw and just went naaa !

Agreed. I see them, too, and yet all I hear is the constant "but the MM doesn't allow T1s to play with T5s." ********. And the MM is STILL doing it's best to put together a "winning" team and then pretending it didn't predict the outcome.

Hell I logged on all week to comms just to talk crap and heckle people... I didn't drop at all till a handful tonight.

Population is too low.

In Oceanic tonight in GQ, was same teams and there was nearly a 20mins wait. PGI have already said they won't change things for the OC timezone so it's gotta cater for everyone. Hence it'll always be open season.
