Under the skill tree system fewer pilots run Speed Tweak and therefore average mech speed is slower. I don't think a huge change is needed but the domination circle should be moved slightly to accommodate for this; currently, it's very common for the timer to tick down to 15 seconds before the platform side team can start contesting the timer without crossing out in the open water and getting blown to smithereens.

How would the water side get blown to smithereens if both sides are slower now?

It's more because Locusts were nerfed. There used to be a Locust on each team most of the time, so they'd both reach the domination circle relatively early. But now Locusts are fewer, so if one team has one and the other doesn't... they can even win the match in like 2 minutes before the other team gets there.

The circle is also really, really badly placed on Crim. One side can approach it in relative safety and set up a solid firing line with loads of cover options, while the other has to pretty much hug the ridge or cozy up to the tunnel to stay inside without being fully exposed.

You are in zero danger if you go half of the way across the water (in domination). People are just not used to it.
