100 MC = 5000 XP converted means 1 MC for each 50 XP. That appears to be twice the normal XP converted per MC.

@ Summer Blast Resistance Mechs Sale -- I don't know whether to smile over there being a bunch of Inner Sphere Mechs on sale suddenly like this, or be upset that there's no Clan Mechs on sale during the Summer Blast Personal Challenge Event. I guess I'm just too tired to think straight right now. Although, didn't I want certain models while they were on sale? Dangit, I can't remember!

Does the golden c-bill hanging item give me 5% more c-bill each match and is it equippable on clan and IS mechs?

the MC discount prices can be beneficial IF you have MC you don't need, but are in need of cbills... as you can always buy a very well equipped mech on sale and then sell it for cbills. The locust 1E(C) when its on a 50% off sale is one of the best values for conversion, turning something like 373MC into about 2 million cbills... but there are other good ones in the above list.

The date and time are set showing it to start the same time as the faction play match score mini event, but nothing is showing up for me yet either.
