Since there doesn't appear to be a section for this sort of thing, and there really should be, this is going to go here.
Also maybe it'll get people to calm down over whatever the current brouhaha happens to be.
I was just watching one of my new favorite YouTube channels, TheXPGamers run by one Captain Shack, watching him and a friend play the old Supreme Commander game, using a mod that allows the Campaign mode to be run Co-Op, and he mentioned there is a mod in the works for the game based on none other than Battletech/MechWarrior.
Supreme Mech Commander
It's apparently been in the works for going on 2 years now, so this might be old news to some people here, but it also might be something that someone here hasn't heard of until now. Like me.
I'd never played Supreme Commander before, but hearing about this BT/MW mod might just have tipped the scales in favor of me getting it at some point.

Good to see people being passionate about MW modding, and the game looks fun. I'll keep tabs on it's development.
I'm personally getting very excited about having my hands on the turn based BT game that is coming in June 1st for the backers. Skirmish vs. AI only for the moment, but that's fine with me.

Ah, the memories. Still play it from time to time with the SC:FAF launcher (the free community release with **** tons of features like global chats, mod/map browsing, and many more). https://www.faforever.com/
