Why is the one with the CT laser hardpoint significantly better than the one without them? Why does the full set of 8 on the Warhawk C have better quad ER PPC potential than the Warhawk Prime that has 4 ER PPCs stock? The C even gets better energy heat reduction! AAAAAAAAA

What I'm asking for:

BUFF the Warhawk Prime set of 8. NERF the Warhawk C's energy heat reduction.

The only reason you'd even consider the Warhawk-Prime... was lrms missiles. Even then, you are better off with the Warhawk-B at that point.

The only reason the Warhawk-Prime had LRMs was TT and ammo explosions. That's it.

A proper Warhawk is one that does all the PPCs.

Actually if we are taking TT, Warhawk with Quad LPLs was a beast. Even with a medicore pilot, between the to hit bonuses of the LPL and the Targeting Computer, you had something like a 80% hit rate with LPLs even at their max range. Oh and I could mount enough DHS to move and fire each and every round without generating any heat what so ever. In the end there was nothing I couldn't rip apart with a guarenteed 3-4 LPL hits each and every round.

I don't know if I can argue on the behalf of a cER PPC with the heat profile of an IS ER PPC on a clan assault mech. Even if it is a mobile home mech using it.

The warhawk has low slung arms and the profile of a Dire Whale. This is actually making the Warhawk viable right now

I don't think that's the case necessarily.

While you can go with CLPL spam, CERPPC spam is still effective to a degree, if not better. It just wouldn't be my first choice of Assault these days (that goes to the Marauder-IIC).

What the player base would want: Buff WHK-Prime

What we will get: Nerf WHK-C (We felt that it didn't make sense for the WHK-Prime to have worse 4 ER PPC potential than the WHK-C, so we brought the -C variant inline.)

Warhawk prime has some nice structure quirks right now. Basically a choice of 4 ERPPC on a tanky warhawk prime, or 4 ERPPC with better heat gen warhawk c

11 CT structure or a potential 23.5% reduction of energy heat? Hmmmm........

It works well with the defense tree. One of my unit members runs his prime that way, seems to work well. It would be tankiness vs 13% reduction, since both have access to 10.5% skill tree

It's 9% since the Prime does have some heat gen quirks (I think it is 4%), but 9% heat gen > 11 CT structure and 7.5% velocity.

The quad LPL Wubhawk in TT was actually heat neutral with just the 20 hardwired DHS. You didn't even have to add a single heatsink to it.

Went to check my Warhawk quirks, confronted by a hundred entries of skill tree upgrades to search through. That enhancements list needs some serious fixing.
