I love the mech, it's gorgeous and everything I hoped it would be. The one thing I would change is in it's build options and that is to give all variants but the 9FC (Because it's cap is 400) and engine cap of 350 instead of 345. The even number would be very nice. Kana even agrees with me.

Better..... I'd lower caps in any mech, except Stalker and CTF-4X

I don't know. I've always been more of a mind to cut it much closer to a mech's stock engine rating when deciding the upper limit. That genie escaped its bottle long ago though...

Haha I guess you didn't see Imperius when he was crusading for the Mad Cat Mk2. But honestly it was a case of "Well I've come this far, may as well keep going".

They gave the Annihilator an engine cap of 300 when it should have gotten a 240. That's a 1.5 multiplicator on the stock engine.

I think asking for a 1.23 multiplicator (= 350 engine cap) is sensible, especially as IS assaults need every help they can get.

Well a 360 cap would be epic but I'd be more than happy with just 5 more rating & it being a 350.

Well it looks like most people are in favor of raising the Nightstar's engine cap just a smidgen.

Bah, i'm of a mind that enough mechs have completely arbitrary engine caps that they should not be used as a balancing measure.
I just don't really see, how one could cram in a 400 rating engine into one of the variants but could not do the same into another one.

Just bump all of them to 400, i don't care

I watched your full video. It looks like you missed one big spoiler about the Nightstar, Those arms (except the 9S) only have 8 crit slots for the most part you cant do Gauss+PPC, there is not enough room. Gauss or AC10 leaves only 1 crit slot for a ML/MPL/SL/SPL. So you can do 2 Gauss + 2 PPC only on the 9FC/9S/9P.

P.S the best you can do with the P10 will be UAC 5 + RAC2 or Gauss + AC 2

I really have to disagree with you. While the mech will be okish at the Gauss + PPC meta, Other then that its going to mostly be an under achiever compared to the the KGC/ANNI. The only exception to this will be the 9S, That's the only truly good mech in the bundle. With only 1 out of 5 variants worth keeping I would have said you should pass on this bundle.

I really do think the general rule should be that caps get rounded to the nearest 25 in rating just to work with the heat sink issues.

And yeah I get that some mechs would actually get boned by that but not nearly as much so as they would have before the desync.

No, btw it shouldnt get it's engine bumped up to 350, just so it can mount an additional heatsink, that's now how it works.
