The problem with Canada's climate (well, one of many) is that it does get plenty hot here, but not often enough for everywhere to have air conditioning. So when it does go above 30C/90F there is no escape.
one more thing learned because of MWO

anyway, liking the event, even if i didnt complete any challenges so far/couldnt play so far.
me wants that battlemaster with canada colors, reverse them and run it as a swiss one

why are some of these weeks challenges only a day long?
BECAUSE they require almost no actual effort to achieve them.

matchmaker sorts by tier and mech weight class, not by idiocy, cowardess, bravery, intelligence or any other human only FPS gamer factors. That I can consistently do top damage for the team in a brawling srm/ssrm crow and often more than the entire charlie lance full of back field campers combined... is not PGI's fault.

Its more a problem of US pollution being a major drive of climate change and everywhere is getting hotter. So blame generations of successive governments and lack of environmental policies.

...and next we discuss Trump's desicion to the Paris contract - lets not go there guys. There is enough politics in Battletech allready.
And if its really that hot at PGI bureaus, i could send them a few table ventilators. got myself an "Arctic Breeze" usb fan and its quite powerfull for its size.

Is this true? I thought it was only for 1st victory of the day, not per 'mech! This is great!

Absolutely! So just go through your best mechs and get the first win of the day on each one. If you have premium time 4-5k is totally possible on any given win...
As you can see below, Mechs you've not won with in the past 24 hours have a "XP x2" in their upper left corner:

I believe this resets every day at 5pm PDT (?), though I may need someone to confirm that.

Btw. I blame clan Ghost Bear for climate warming. They are fed up with snow.

It's gotten so bad that I've resorted to telling teams to stick near the assaults, and if they won't push, stand directly behind and beside them so they physically have no choice but to move forward.
I will admit with some shame to shooting particularly potatoey pugs who refused to move until they thought an enemy was shooting them in the back.

takes 1 game lol
Being an Assaults Only Pilot during the start of day 4 (protected light/medium) of the event

Me to the assault pilots

Another reason the assaults are making that face at me

Got a 28 assists, 25 assists, 23 assists and 18 assists game.
No that is NOT my normal commando build, I rebuilt it for event requirements.
I dont like this "protected lights" "event" without having something to get people in heavies/assaults at the same time. My games to get this done were total 12 mechs weight of about 550 tons with average 1 assault and 2 heavies per drop.
Assaults were crying "get out from under my feet"
lurms were flying everywhere, the amount of AMS was insane !
This is basically encouraging people to stand in front of their assaults to get a shot on enemies, annoying the heck out of the assaults constantly getting stuck on lights blocking them, at 900 meters with their er large or to launch lrm5's from a light..... (er large is your better option fyi) (since so many heavy / assault pilots sit back).
It also makes people not care at all about working with their team / building a good build for role to win which annoys the heck out of people who put winning 1st.
And theres only 2 reasons ANYONE is in an assault / heavy,
1. their new / dont keep up on events (dont know theres an event happening) ,
2. Their in a streakboat getting the most KMDD's / damage they have ever got in their life.
I enjoyed working out most efficient way to get this done.
Cya'll tomorrow to shoot down uav's.

They always state that though. Why admit in writing they have bad coding or inadequate servers or bandwidth from their ISP.
